He is thorough, caring ,patient and pleasant. I had such an extensive examination, I knew I was in great hands, and he explained in details all the different tests. Staff is welcoming and attentive. Merlissa who ran some eye tests with various machines prior to my seeing Dr Soto gave easy to follow directions. Dr Soto was thorough with checking my vision for reading music , knew exactly what to do and was caring and i never felt rushed. Brian checked on my insurance coverage for the visit which was very helpful. He is very knowledgable about all aspects of the practice . I did not need new frames at this visit .

My first visit at Kips Bay Optical today was a wonderful experience. I'm glad I chose this place for my annual eye exam and also help with online vision registry. From the front desk and the assistant to the doctor, everyone was welcoming, efficient, and helpful. The front desk confirmed that my vision plan is accepted, and was clear about my copay. Melissa, who took care of initial vision screening and took the photos of my eyes to be evaluated by the doctor, patiently walked me through each step of the screening process. I was then seen by Dr. Aaron Soto, who was professional, thorough, friendly, as well as a clear communicator. Dr. Soto completed a detailed, comprehensive exam for me without rushing and explained all the findings in ways that I can understand. I look forward to returning for my future exam and any needs, and I'm happy to know that this place is such a gem in my neighborhood. Highly highly recommend!

Very professional and understanding to the Patients needs. Also enjoyed the assistant tech Merlissa, who has high aspirations and looking forward to advancing her education in Optometry. She seems eager to learn and also on her way, she seems to enjoy what she does. Also would be remission if I did not mention Dr Soto. Great professional and extremely thorough in his work. It appears that he works closely with the senior population and explains everything from Floaters to Cataracts.
Enjoyed sitting in his chair. That's Dr. Soto for the help.
