I've been seeing Dr. Kantrowich for years, and I truly can't say enough great things about him. He is always professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly thorough during every visit. He takes the time to explain everything clearly and makes sure all of my questions are answered, which I really appreciate. The office is well-run, appointments are on time, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. It's clear that Dr. Kantrowich genuinely cares about his patients and their eye health. I completely trust his expertise and wouldn't go anywhere else. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for an outstanding eye doctor!

I do not recommend this clinic. The doctor seems professional, but the service here was poor in almost every part of the experience. The front desk staff came across as arrogant and sometimes rude. When I asked whether I could get a digital copy, I was told, "I already gave you the printed version--why can't you just take a picture?" That kind of response really made me uncomfortable. The doctor also did not take enough time to explain his decisions. He may be knowledgeable, but professionalism is not just about giving a prescription. Patients should also understand why certain things matter and what's the principle/impact behind decision. I did not feel that level of care here. Communication after the exam was also disappointing. After my initial examination, I waited nearly three weeks with no update about when to pick up my glasses. I finally called the office myself, and they said they had tried to call me a week earlier but could not reach me. Even so, there was no voicemail, no follow-up call, and no email. Just one call... Overall, the experience felt dismissive and poorly managed. A business, especially a medical office, should treat every patient with respect. That was not how I feel here.

Great experience! Dr. Alan Kurfirst is very knowledgeable and caring. He advised me to try contact lenses bc my unbalanced prescriptions. I immediately started appreciating it despite long time doubt. The staff were also very patient and nice in helping me learning the hows of contact lenses. I would highly recommend!

The BEST optometrist I have had in 17 years! This was my first time in this office, and I was blown away. Dr. Kurfirst was so thorough, personable, and intelligent. I asked questions from beginning to end and received so much insight that I have never had the opportunity to receive at another doctor's office. I will be going back for years and years to come. Excellent service, friendly staff, low wait, and just an all-around stellar experience. Please keep it up, team.

I couldn't speak more highly of Dr. Paul Kantrowich. He is extremely competent, thorough, and knowledgeable. Most notably he genuinely cares about his patients in a way that is immediately evident. I've seen him several times and have since recommended him to friends and family. I'm not one to write a public review; but he really is a gem in city of thousands of doctors.

I've been coming to this office for three years now and I am always enjoy my experience. Front Desk staff is great. Dr. Kurfirst always takes his time and explains all the details that goes into eye Health.

I really appreciate Dr. Kancrowich he doesn't just tell you what the problem is- he explains it so you know what is happening. He's always very caring. This last visit was not a regular check up it was checking on some small issues which thankfully don't seem to be anything to worry about. When I walked out he said no charge! How often does that happen! Much appreciated since I haven't worked in over half a year and currently going though chemotherapy. Thank you!

Madison avenue Eye Care center is truly a Gem. I visited for the first time today. I did not even have to wait a single minute. The team performed several thorough tests using advanced machines. I was pleasantly surprised that I didn't need eye dilation drops as the technology handles it itself. The doctor, front desk staff, frame specialists and nurses were all incredibly king, professional and welcoming. Thank you to the entire team! I'll definitely be coming back here for my eye care moving forward.
