The most beautiful eye center designed for maximum comfort for patients. Very grateful for Dr. Chen following up with uveitis. I usually get called pretty quickly.

I visited the clinic for a new appointment, and everything started off well. I patiently waited for about an hour, and I didn't mind the wait. However, when I inquired about when I would be seen, the response left me quite disappointed. Initially, they explained that they had to prioritize two emergency cases ahead of me, which caught me off guard as I didn't realize this was an urgent care or emergency room. I expressed my concern to the medical staff about waiting for an hour with my child, and he responded that I wasn't the only one with a child and offered to call the manager. This situation was frustrating because all I wanted was a more accurate estimate of when I would be seen. However, it seemed that they couldn't provide one due to potential ongoing emergencies. The so-called manager approached us with an aggressive demeanor, and it felt confrontational. She informed me that I should expect a lengthy visit, given that it was a new patient appointment with an ophthalmologist, and these appointments tend to be time-consuming. What bothered me the most was the lack of empathy and failure to communicate effectively about the expected wait time. I understand that time is valuable, and both the medical staff and I were investing our time and money in this appointment. However, practicing empathy and avoiding any signs of microaggression would go a long way in improving the patient experience. I attempted to call to lodge a formal complaint but was given seven different phone numbers, which led me to share my feedback on the internet instead."
