Came here for the 1st time when my insurance charged and I could not be happier. My son and I had very thorough exams and our new prescription are perfect, I didn't even know my prescription had changed but hello world your clear now. Prices and selection are great but the best part is the employees, professional, helpful and very fun bunch of people. After explaining all our options and choosing frames the followup is great, order came quick and they called same day. Haply to call it my new eye place.

I've been going to Dr. Kessler for over 20 years. He is always very thorough, concerned and efficient. He runs a busy practice, which is a good thing, and I can see why some people may be put off by his rapidity. However, when he does have a few minutes, I've had pleasant discussions with him. He's always concerned about not just your eyesight but the health of your eyes, and he's made appropriate recommendations to me over the years. The shop is always stocked with a good variety of eyewear too. The staff is courteous and takes their time with me.

After years of eye problems, Dr Kessler's exam and prescription corrected my wife's vision. My exam was thorough and the results were accurate. Dr. Kessler is thorough and efficient. He knows his trade. I did not find his mannerism to be rude or uncaring. In the limited time I spent with him, warm and fuzzy would not be the takeaway. I found him to be excellent at his craft. I am grateful for his expertise.

Ok... FIRST of all, Dr. Kessler is NOT nasty. He's efficient and no-nonsense. He gives a thorough and careful exam. He takes his time. I've been going here for several years now, and hands down, he is one of the best I've encountered anywhere on the Island. I don't want a doctor to be my best friend - I want a doctor to be professional, skilled, and have my best interest in mind, and Dr Kessler is all those things. I do have to subtract a star - his staff (like all humans) are not perfect, but when confronted with their mistakes, they do not take ownership of them, instead, becoming passive-aggressive and sometimes rude. This has, on several occasions, forced me to obtain prescriptions for a different source.

As a 20 year patient of Dr Kessler and Insight Vision, I can personally attest to his caring, concerned, considerate and professional practice. His CV-19 office safety practices during the pandemic have been top notch - as is his entire office staff. These other reviews stating that he's nothing but a nasty old bitter man are seriously laughable. And if you need to be constantly on your phone during your eye examination, you have no business being there and wasting the doctor's time.

I've only had positive experiences with the staff working for Dr. Kessler. Dr. Kessler himself I would consider a savant. If you have a problem with your eyes or corrective lenses (my issue was with contacts) and want to get to the bottom of it, he seems to easily puts his heart and mind into the issue.

I agree with the previous reviewer that Dr. Kessler is efficient, concerned, and professional. I have also found him very respectful assuming that, as the previous reviewer said, what you want is a professional relationship, not a superficial friendship. Among his staff, I have found Jennifer very helpful and pleasant to work with.

After years of being shuffled through exams, Dr. Kessler gave me the most thorough exam I've ever had. A great establishment and a man who is truly a master at his craft. Highly recommend.
