Enrique Yepes-Hoyos, OD

Dr. Enrique Yepes-Hoyos, OD has been very nice, kind, patient, and listens to you when explaining any eye issues to him. He acts quickly when he finds something amiss with your vision. He refers you to the best eye surgeons when needed.

Just had the most professional, pleasant and informative eye exam today with Dr Yepes-Hoyos, when I went in for an eye exam and new glasses, as my dog chewed up the last pair. He dilated my pupils and gave a very careful and thorough exam, really taking his time, talking and explaining what he was looking at and why. I just got the feeling this man loves his job, takes it seriously and - dare I say it?-- cares about the healthy vision of the people who come to see him (see what I did there?)

I had a very negative experience at this location from start to finish. First, they don't tell you until AFTER you are already in the appointment that they don't do contact lens fittings. So, after I had already signed the paperwork giving consent for my insurance to bill them for a full eye exam, they tell me at the end of the appointment that I have to go to another doctor to get a contact lens fitting. Of course, I had already used my one annual visit allowed by my insurance at their office. I had to go to another doctor to do a whole separate exam for contact lens fitting paid fully out of pocket. Second, they make you come back already wearing the contact lens from a different docotr to renew a script for them and THEN charge you another $50 for that visit. Third, they are extremely rude. Fourth, the wait time is ridiculously long. Fifth, my son doesn't feel the dr was confident about the script written for him and feels he needs to get it done by someone else. Overall a huge waste of time and money and ended in total frustration. The manager at Saratoga Hospital informs me he will be reprimanding them for how they've treated us. They are a very poor representation of Sar Hosp - I've never dealt with this in all my visits with any other doctors.

Excellent doctor. Been seeing Dr. Yepes for the last fifteen years and he's very knowledgeable, friendly, and polite. Dunno about the other person's criticism but it seems to be less about Dr. Yepes and more an issue with the practice he may be affiliated with but he is a quality eye doctor.

Dr Yepes was wonderful!!! He made sure my daughter's issues were treated promptly!! Was a scary time! Very professional, thorough and caring!!! Appreciate and grateful to him and his staff!!!
