Pediatric Eye Care - Saratoga Hospital

I have taken my son to see Dr. Dorothy Reynolds many times over the last 3 years. From the first appointment I was unsure if the treatment was correct and I was outspoken about it, "butting heads" with Dr. Reynolds on more than one occasion. Turns out I was correct and should have listened to that mom instinct. Dr. Reynolds miss diagnosed my son with a glandular disorder and incorrectly prescribed glasses that were so incorrect that the doctor we got the second opinion from gasped. Now my 6 year old needs an eye patch to try to correct his vision before it's a permanent problem causing a 6 year old to need bifocals. I hated how he was tested as an ADHD/AUTISTIC child. He is extremely smart but needs to be handled in the correct way. Staff was kind but often clueless and would not adjust tests to accommodate my child's needs. Clearly this factored into the MULTIPLE miss diagnosis and our new doctor has listed this location and DR. REYNOLDS as a DO NOT REFER. I Stayed because she is listed as a "specialist" but considering that the entire time my child was treated at this location he could no longer pass ANY eye sight exams through the school, pediatrician, or Head start programs, this "specialist" is especially poor in her duties. I've spent HUNDREDS of dollars in glasses that are all the wrong prescription and now look at $165 per pair (outside of the one covered by insurance) to change the lenses to the correct script. Seeing as I purchased 2 extra regular glasses and a sun glass pair (AUDHD can ruin them fast) that's quite the expense at $495 for this mistake. My self, our doctor, the family and friends are all absolutely furious as my concerns were spoken, headaches mentioned, failed tests brought up, adaptations asked for. We saw her 2 times a year and I currently regret ever going. My child has suffered pain that could have been remedied with the correct prescriptions quickly instead for for 6+ months, his eyesight has worsened and may be irreparable, and I'm out hundreds of dollars and many hours of mom regret and personal blame for not pulling sooner for second opinions. Please save yourself the pain, agony and money. Save your child from the stress and problems. FIND A DIFFERENT DOCTOR.

First off I Arrived at 12:30 for my son , he had dialtion drops done then they sent us out into the waiting room per normal , brought us back in waited over an hour if not more no doctor to be seen only to get sent back out to the waiting room again over all have been waiting for over 3 hours if I could give this place 0 stars Id do it 10000000 times

The doctor saw my 2 year old today, we drove 2 hours for this appointment. The doctor by no means tried to make my nervous child feel comfortable, asked multiple times if my child was "delayed" and then said my daughter was near sighted but needs no glasses when she very obviously has a hard time seeing and complains about it all the time. We also were not provided with any type of visit notes. Very unprofessional and would NOT recommend.

Dr. Reynolds and her staff have gone above and beyond to care for all of my kiddos. We are truly lucky to have such an experienced team close to home.
