Terrible experience with the front desk staff. My husband called simply to schedule an appointment because he is concerned about his eye health and some vision problems. Instead of being met with professionalism, the staff member was rude, short, and unnecessarily abrasive. There was absolutely no reason to treat someone seeking medical care that way. First impressions matter, and unfortunately the way this office treats potential patients is extremely unprofessional and unwelcoming. After reading the reviews this seems to be a common theme

Today my son had an incident where he ended up with metal in his eye. I called are normal eye doctor to try to get him seen and they still don't have an eye doctor. So I called Allegany eye in wellsville and they got my son right in to see Dr. Ryan Beers. Dr. Beers did amazing with son and was very informative. He was able to get the metal out of his eye very quick and efficient. My family will be switching providers so we can continue being seen by Dr. Beers.

I firmly believe Dr Beers saved me from going blind ... literally. After telling doctors for years there is something seriously going wrong with my eyes, they ALL dismissed it as "getting older". Dr. Beers discovered that my eyes are bone dry. Thank God I found Dr Beers. I had very painful grittiness, spinning cobwebs, white and black floaters and my vision was getting far worse than ever before. I cannot thank him enough for figuring this out for me. I believe I have had Sjogrens for a long time and doctors were calling it fibromyalgia and because of Dr. Beers discovery I am now being taken seriously about my autoimmune issues which have been literally slow killing me. What a blessing Dr Beers has been to me. I am positive he will be seen as a blessing to the entire community in due time. Additionally, because of his attentiveness and willingness to listen I made my little boy an appt for his annual check up. My little boy also had an exceptional visit with Kait and then Dr. Beers. They worked so well with my son who has Autism. We will not go to any other eye doctors. Dr Beers is SUPREME.

I highly recommend Dr. Ryan Beers. I had been going to see him in Hornell, but he is now practicing at Allegany Eye Associates located on Martin Street Wellsville NY.

The doctors may be great but the office staff are rude and disrespectful.

The doctors are so nice. Also, I wish I could remember the name of the lady who helped me pick out frames. I've been wearing glasses since I was in the fourth grade, I'm in my 50's, at no point has anyone ever taken the time to explain that with my prescription I need to pick the lightest frames possible or my glasses will be heavy. Well, my Kate Spade glasses look cool, but they are heavy (I bought these somewhere else). I'll take her advice, use the light weight glasses for every day and use these for things like work video calls. All this time, no one cared enough to share knowledge until I went to Allegany Eye Associates. I hope someone in management reads this and gives that lady a raise

I've been a patient of Allegheny Eye Associates for at least five years, and it's been nothing short of exceptional. My most recent visit was for contact lens, and as always, it was a seamless experience. The process was quick, easy, and absolutely delightful, thanks in large part to their incredible staff. If you happen to be looking for a new eye care professional, look no further! As an added bonus, if you stop in before April 8th they will provide you with a pair of stylish eclipse glasses free of charge!

Had an appointment for 2.15 and my son one for 2.25. Over 40 minutes later both still waiting to be seen. When I questioned why they obviously overbooked I was given assurances that they had not; it was just they were too busy with patients! Duh...What would have been said if we were 40+ minutes late on our end? Left this place and unless things change, will not be back. My insurance, my co-pay , I expect decent customer service.*** Ok , returned to this business on March 6th to try them again and this time the experience was great!!! Greeted very friendly and professionally and waited less than 3 minutes in the waiting room before going into exam room. Less than 5 minutes later doctor Johnson examined me. Very excellent service and I'm adding to my previous negative to be fair. Good job Allegany Eye Associates. Bill Conniff
