OCLI Vision Woodbury

I've seen both Dr. Sable and Dr. Malik at this location, both for post-op appointments after cataract surgery and for laser surgery on retinal tears. I have no problems with the doctors or techs, it's mostly OCLI's billing department (being sent multiple bills in error) and like others have said, the factory-like atmosphere. You wait a certain amount of time in the waiting room, get called in for some test with the techs, then directed to another waiting area, then for other tests/pics taken, and then to yet another waiting area. Almost feel like being herded like cattle. The only location I haven't had this experience at is the Bethpage one which I've been going to for over 40 years... I like the doctors but I am seriously considering going to another practice. UPDATE 2/16/26: I have a laser surgery follow-up appt Tues morning with Dr. Malik and after completing pre-registration online, I received a confirmation email. Oddly there was a message in bold red letters saying all patients & caregivers are required to wear masks for the whole visit and to expect to have your temperature taken upon arrival. At first I thought this was leftover from the pandemic and never updated (if so they really need to update it!), but I don't remember emails from visits last spring and summer with this message. We'll see if I get harassed upon arrival for not wearing a mask, although none of the other medical offices I've visited recently had that requirement.

been calling for 2 days. last tie i went there, i waiting an hour and half! then another half hour in the exam room. so unorganized. dr LoPinto is very, however by the time i got to see him I was frustrated about the wait time. they overbook everyday. I am currently seeking another eye doctor.

Drs Lopinto and Fracassa have taken care of our family's ophthalmology needs for many years with great care and expert knowledge. Love the new significantly larger space in this location. Plenty of support staff to take you through the motions of a complete annual exam. Clean well maintained facilities. Expert hands of the doctors as always.

Can I give a 0?? My husband had a visit scheduled with Dr Malik since Dr Sigler left the practice. This Dr???? Said he need an IV test???? For something he doesn't even have. He never even saw her. We left. Insurance scam???? You never even saw her. How would you know he needs a test that he never needed before??? Beware before you see this Dr and puts you though test that are not needed.

Dr. Fracassa seems great but you have to pay your deductible in addition to your copayment! Also, be prepared to move around before being seen.

Like others have stated its a factory. They pulled another patients chart instead of mine and also made an appointment for me with someone elses name. Myra who works at the front desk is so rude and constantly harassed me for payments which she believed were past due. Worst than a bill collector. She is a mean rude unprofessional woman who should be fired. The office manager is useless thats when shes there which is not often. You see different doctors who try to have you come for further appointments. They double charge and you better get a receipt for all payments. Otherwise they will send you hills saying you didnt pay. Their instruments are old and over used. Its a money making racket with no concerns for their patients. I want nothing to do with that group of doctors anymore and am thankful I will no longer have to go back to that circus and having to deal with that person at the front desk.

I've tried 3 times to make an appointment and have not been able to speak to someone to schedule an appointment. Clearly, this is a centralized calling center and probably a private equity owned facitlity and customer service is horrible.

Marissa is amazing! She got my mom in the same day for an emergency she had when no one else would. Dr Fracassa was also great, he really cares about his patients. Marissa and Dr Fracassa make the perfect team!
