Seeta Eye Centers

*May 13, 2025 I had to come to the Seeta Eye Center for a routine eye exam. The greeting I received upon entering the office was rather...weird when I thought it would be much more pleasant than this...So, supposedly both the ophthalmologist and receptionist, (when actually I believe it was only the ophthalmologist) had told me, that they were having lunch, (alright then, that wasn't really an issue with me, as I can just wait in the waiting room). The receptionist although, was kind've conversing with me aggressively as I was handing her my health insurance card; then all of a sudden, this patient comes in almost immediately after I entered and asks me to help her hold the door, (for what I assumed was her mother in a wheelchair). I was literally in the middle of checking myself in for my appointment and this person asks me this...Like, then it isn't my business, that the doors to this office are big and somewhat heavy, (literally I attempted opening these doors myself when first entering and it wasn't that bad..What was this woman attempting to prove with me here? Yeah...So, this experience I had when going in for my routine eye exam was "something". I believe I can tell the receptionist in this office at the Yorktown Heights, New York location, is perceived to be pleasant but, at the same time miserable. This had all caused me with feeling turned off. However though, now, another situation I am having, is that I am unable to login into my patient portal account, all because, (I believe) the receptionist screwed up the name within my file...So, I have to wait up to a day or, so for the issue to be resolved, (hopefully) I dunno...just this whole scenario kind've irked me.

I have been wearing glasses for 11 years now and started to consider getting lasik done. Once my prescription didn't change consecutively I then went for my screening. At first, I felt anxious, but Stacey made me feel at ease with all the information that she provided with me during my screening. We then set up my day to have my two hour eye test, and then the procedure day. And the day of the procedure went very smoothly. Dr. Modi walked through the entire procedure as it was happening with me and the two nurses that helped him also made me feel very very comfortable. After it was done, I sat up on the table looked at the wall, and I could see I cried just a little bit. It's so crazy that I was able to see. The night after the procedure went very smoothly for me. As I did all the drops that I needed to do, my eyes felt better and better. Postop day one I want to check my eyes and I had 20/15 vision in both eyes. I am so happy with the results. I would definitely recommend to anyone that I know family and friends. Thank you Seeta Eye!!!!
