I got a call from this office today and it really made me mad this lady called me and told me that they had to reschedule my appointment next week because they were doing some sorta upgrade or something like that. She wanted me to come in 10/27 then I said I already have something to do that day then she said well we don't have another appointment till the end of November. I said November I have had this appointment for a while and now you want me to wait till November I said forget it I will go see somebody else I need my eyes checked for my contacts. She was very rude and snapping with me at the end of the call and hung up on me. I will not do business here no more they have issues in that office. Have heard many different people talk about this company. You don't have to be rude lady

Would be nice if they could stay on time with patient appts. I understand that some patients may take longer than others, and there is a few tests that they do before you see the doctor, but if your appt is at 8:00 and you are asked to be there 15 minutes before your appointment, then you should be taken back at 8:00 and then once the pre-tests are done you should be seeing the doctor. The patients time is just as valuable as anyone else that comes or works in any medical/eye office.

I am extremely frustrated with the Albemarle, NC location! I contacted this office in AUGUST & was given an appointment for OCTOBER. I have all the text messages from this office showing this information. I confirmed the appointment via their text messaging system a week ahead.
THE DAY BEFORE the appointment - I received a call telling me the appointment time was no longer offered & I would have to reschedule! I asked how was that possible when I made the appointment months ago & confirmed it a week before! The person stated that she saw I made the appointment two weeks prior. Absolutely not! I have the texts to confirm my original contact with them. Then the system sent me a text after the person canceled my appointment to make it appear as if I didn't show.
This is one of the worst customer service experiences and I will tell anyone I meet to avoid this place!

Because of right eye blindness I needed a new prescription. I waited until the ophthalmologist cleared me to have a new eye exam. I was told by the office and received texts saying I would receive $200 off. I made the appointment as soon as the office would schedule it. When I was paying for the new glasses I was told that the offer had expired 4 days earlier. No one ever said there was an expiration date and I took the first available appointment. I have been disappointed with the changes since Dr Dunlap retired. I won't be going back. Also during the exam the optometrist referred several times to my glaucoma. I don't have glaucoma. In fact he had diagnosed the cause; it wasn't glaucoma. His not reading my chart wasn't reassuring. I was charged for 2 corrective lenses; my blind right eye lens should be clear.

This office was phenomenal! The receptionist was very kind, welcoming, and took care of my insurance immediately. The nurse was professional, knowledgeable, and very sweet. The doctor listened to me and didn't rush me. He made sure I understood what he was doing and why. The lady who helped me pick out my glasses was patience, helpful, and fun to talk to. This office is definitely a 10 out of 10.
