Dr. Steven A. Dingeldein, MD

He has been my doctor for 10+ years and has always taken time to explain each step. He listened when I described what I was experiencing. He also referred me to the doctor who is now treating my macular degeneration and is still my regular eye doctor. I couldn't ask for a better treatment and I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Dingledein is the GOAT of ophthalmologists; always addresses any concerns, and never makes you feel rushed. Staff know their jobs and give you top notch attention. Highly recommend.

Not happy I was double charged. I call back. They said they couldn't do nothing about it. I have to dispute it at my bank. I spent my toll ride home worrying about it..

The entire staff was friendly and professional. Dr. Dingeldein was very thorough and I feel comfortable that my eyes and my sight are being well taken care of.

The reviews I read were completely different from the experience I had. I waited over 30 minutes in the waiting area, and when I was finally called back, Dr. Dingeldein entered the room with barely a word. He glanced at my eye through the machine for maybe three seconds, then turned around and walked out. The level of professionalism was shockingly poor. It felt as though, because I'm allergic to many medications, he had no real interest in helping me. My eye is still swollen--almost completely shut--and the only advice he gave was to apply a warm compress. No prescription, no real evaluation. Despite the lack of care provided, I'm sure my insurance will still be billed, which is extremely frustrating. These 5 star reviews that I see are straight lies and these people know it! This man has absolutely no professionalism at all whatsoever!!

It was great and so organized. Everyone were so kind and professional. All my concerns were addressed. Beautiful facility. I was put at ease immediately. Doctor Dingeldein explained everything so I could understand the upcoming procedure. A positive experience.

Dr, Dingeldein & staff at Alamance Eye are always friendly and very thorough in all the tests I have to do. Always explains results in detail!

Great visit. No issues. Of course my eyes were dilated and I chose to try the reverse dilation eye drops. Worked great! Eyes were pretty back to normal within 2 and half to 3 hours. The last time I had my eyes dilated, it took around 9 hours for my eyes to return to normal. Will definitely use these drops again!
