The doctor was great, took time to explain a new finding. The staff were super friendly. Joy was so nice and went the extra mile to assist with my vision insurance!

My daughter received a referral from her pediatrician to go here. They never called me, never returned my call, or responded to my online appointment request. Not sure what the issue is, do not recommend.

My children go to this eye doctor and we've been very pleased. They are kind and patient and our needs have always been met.

My last eye exam was at Mebane Vision and not only was I given the wrong prescription glasses, they were very rude and made the whole appointment uncomfortable. I was very apprehensive on having another exam as the first one left much to be desired. Patty Vision was excellent all the way around. We had to wait a few minutes past our appointment time but the sweet blonde haired employee was super friendly, easy to talk to and made my daughter and I feel at ease. The brown haired doctor who saw us was very patient and friendly as well. The whole experience took away any fears I previously had about getting my eyes examined. I look forward to coming back for all of our eye care needs! (We traveled an hour and a half away to be seen here and it was a trip well worth it!)

I have been a patient of Dr Jackson's for many years & recently had an issue, needed to be seen right away, & she was on vacation. Saw Dr. Vernig who could not have been kinder & more informative! He knew right away what the problem was, took time with me & explained everything. Saw Dr. Jackson today for followup & my annual eye check. She, Dr. Vernig & their office staff are just the absolute BEST! Kind, caring & overall wonderful! I can not say enough great things about that office! 10 STARS!!!! Warmly, E. Whisenhunt

We had a great experience today. I was hesitant after looking at their google ratings, but it seems like an upset person repeatedly "reviewed' the same issue, unfairly to bring down the overall rating. I brought my two year old to Dr. Erin Jackson after numerous recommnedations to use her for pediatric eye evaluation. We had Megan upon arrival and she was absolutely wonderful with my two year old and helped her be at ease, and my daughter loved the lollipops and stickers she provided, of course. Dr. Jackson was also lovely with my daughter, nothing but pleasantries. I will continue bringing my daughter back for her exams after our wonderful experience.

My kids have been patients at Patty eye center for close to 5 years. We've never had an issue with insurance. I noticed my youngest son having issues with his eyes and decided I needed to make an appointment. I called during the summer and they told me they weren't excepting new Medicade patients at the time and to go somewhere else for him. I wasn't comfortable with that because my other two children had been seen there for so long, so I waited. That was the biggest mistake on my part. I set an appointment in SEPTEMBER for the beginning of November. The appointment was on a Wednesday. I got a call the Monday of the appointment week and was told they no longer accept that certain type of Medicade and my son couldn't be seen. I waited months for this appointment all to be told two days before that he couldn't be seen, or any of my children anymore for that matter. I guess long time patients don't matter because of the type of insurance we have. Luckily another provider in the area had openings for the next coming weeks, and are happy to accept their insurance. Just as they waited last minute to tell me about the changes, I'll be sure to not recommend this business to anyone anymore!

I have been a patient at this office for nearly 20 years. when I went in for my exam last week, as a diabetic, I was asked if I wanted an optional $39 exam. I said it wasn't necessary, signed a form declining that service, and went along with the assistant for my exam. Following my exam, I ordered my new frames and lenses. I was told my insurance had covered everything and I had no balance and that my glasses will arrive in a week. Upon receiving notice that my glasses were ready yesterday, I go in and I'm told that I have a $39 balance to take care of for this exam. After I stated that was a mistake because I had declined that service. I was asked to walk around the counter and look at her computer screen. I was then shown a copy of the form I had previously signed where they had marked out, scribbled through and now check that I accepted the service. After still saying, I did not do that, I was told to wait while she went around the corner and spoke to another person. Her supervisor/coworker came out told me that they did perform that exam, as if I was being dishonest, but she wouldnt charge me. So first of all my question is, how is the patient supposed to know what is standard and not standard when taken back for an exam. And two, what kind of medical practice, or any business for that matter, alters documents after the patient has signed them? I've been loyal to this practice for years, and a simple mishap regarding insurance or billing is one thing, but altering a document, then having the nerve to try to charge me after the fact is ludicrous. With so many options in the area, I will look elsewhere in the future, I would suggest you do the same.
