My daughter struggled with reading from Kindergarten through 3rd grade and I was extremely concerned with what we could do to get her the help she needed. We were so thankful to come across Sightwork through a recommendation from our eye doctor.
Through weekly visits to Sightwork and doing 15 minutes or so of additional eye exercises she's reading at grade level with more confidence and fluency! My daughter "graduated" from her program today and we leave feeling super confident we've built the skills necessary to further develop her reading abilities.
My daughter started as a child who did not qualify for an IEP or 504 but was behind her peers enough to receive regular reading interventions. She graduates from Sightwork not needing any additional assistance from school and we are so thankful !

My 10 year old son Logan just completed three months of vision therapy at Sightworks with Mrs Lauren and we couldn't be more appreciative of her hard work and dedication to her craft. I have been to 3 vision therapy places: one as a teacher to see if they could benefit my student(s), and recently for my own post concussion mTBI visual disturbances.
I really felt like Dr. Farnham and my therapists really understood my issues.
Also, the rigor, testing and variety of therapies and homework at Sightwork far exceeded my other experiences.
The therapists are so kind and definitely individualized all tasks based on my tolerance level while still appropriately challenging me.
I made very good progress according to their beginning, midterm and end of program testing (Advice: Do the at-home activities/"homework"!). But even more important was my improved quality of life.
I would have loved to have a facility like this closer by (I traveled 2 hours each way weekly) as a resource for my elementary students.

Today was our daughter's last day of eye therapy. She graduated and we are so proud of her and all of her hard work! When we got in the car to leave, she burst into tears because she was so sad about leaving Mrs. Lauren. She grew to really love her for a year. Sightwork has been a wonderful place for our daughter and Mrs. Lauren has been so lovely to our girl. She has helped her so much and we will forever be grateful.
