Dr Lankford is very thorough, knowledgeable & professional- he & his staff have always been very accommodating getting me in for an appointment! Great place!!!

About a month ago I stopped by to see if I could have my glasses fixed. The answer I got was " No, not unless I was a regular customer." So I ask if I could get an eye exam, and was told it would be November or December before there would be an opening. The lady at the desk also ask how I'd pay. I said Blue Cross/ Blue Sheild and she stated they had to have all of their work pre-approved. What is up with this place? But be-aware all the "Eye-Doctors" in Tarboro are like this. Don't bother me to go to Greenville or Rocky Mount, I'm sure their customer service is alot better.

The WORST. I will never come to this place again. I called to ask could they put my prescription in a pair of glasses I received from amazon they told me they could, it would be 89$ and take 2 days. Dropped my glasses off Tuesday Sept 3 the lady at the desk had an attitude when I dropped them off I paid left. Sept 9 I call because I hadn't heard anything same lady tells me the truck hasn't came with the prescriptions. Call back on Sept 10 and day I dropped my glasses off last Tuesday and they said they'd be ready in 2 days she says 'If you're going to have an attitude I'm not dealing with you & hangs up IN MY FACE. obviously I call back bc I need my glasses or a refund she tells me again I'm not dealing with you, so I say well I need my glasses and a refund or my prescription and she says we'll ill give you a refund because I'm not dealing with your attitude. So I will never deal with them again. Sad and rude

Very nice in the customer repor dept but takes a very long time to get an appt even if you have been going there since the building was built.

If I could put zero stars I would have. Went in and I am in a wheelchair and told the woman I am here for my appointment. She snicker and said it was yesurday my son told her there's no way that he had called just yesterday to make sure what time the appointment was. She looked disappointed that we were right. Then my my son asks her some questions explaining he don't have insurance but she acted like she totally didn't hear him. I even asked a question and she also acted like she didn't hear us. The doctor came out with the only.other patient and didn't speak or look at me. Waited 10 more minutes in a completely empty room and just left because I am in chronic pain and I thought the point of making a appointment a month ahead of time you would at least get in a room at the back but no. It looks to me like some type of money laundry place to me because nobody is ever there and it takes at least a month to be seen. Very rude people out of the 2 I saw. Will never go back. Still can't see and I guess I'll keep wearing roller tree glasess. But if you are thinking of going here do not. Go anywhere else. Terribly rude people.
