Called MyEyeDr in Wallace Nc today about an issue with my eye! It is leaking puss out of it from a stye that doesn't look good at all. I've been using eye drops and antibiotics but it's getting worse. The lady at the front desk said they could not see me it would possibly be next week or I could try to go to the Wilmington office! To me this is an emergency with my eye and she acted like it didn't matter, I mean to say we might be able to see you next week and my eye has puss leaking out of it!! I'll be finding a new provider for eye care these people don't care!!

From the moment I walked in the ladies at the front were SO nice and welcoming. Dana, The technician was very personable, All the way to picking out my new glasses, they all gave me their honest opinions and I absolutely LOVE the ones I got. Will definitely be making this my regular eye dr!

I had one of the best experiences with MyEyeDr in Wallace, NC. The entire staff was welcoming, sincere, and professional from the moment I walked through the door. The office was extremely busy, but they took their time with me and I never felt rushed. By far the best glasses and rx I have ever been prescribed! Thank you for being so kind!

If I could give this place no stars, I would! It was the worst experience I have had in a while! I scheduled an appointment on-line and gave them all my info. They sent an email with a link to sign all forms, give insurance info and all pertinent information. They also sent an email to confirm appointment, which i did. The office is about 30 miles from me and I was on time for the appointment. I went in and the girl at reception desk told me that that never get any of the information sent to them for on-line check in and I needed to fill out all the information AGAIN! I have no idea what their computer system did with my info and they then informed me they did not take my insurance, Blue Cross. I drove 60 miles round trip for nothing! And, my personal info. Is just missing even though I filed everything correctly. Why send out an email with a link if the information never goes to the Eyecare center I had an appointment with?? I then called their customer service and was told I could not file a complaint and was referred to their website which obviously does not work!! I would never use this company! Be warned! Very unprofessional and very customer unfriendly! Worst customer service i have ever dealt with! Negative 5 stars for me!

I came in with burry vision in my right eye. They did the full exam and the virtual doctor said my diagnosis was that my glasses were too strong as my eyes had changed. Note that all during the exam at every step that they asked me if this lens or that lens was better I kept telling them that my right eye was still blurry, I was almost seeing double. I was very unhappy with the exam so I scheduled another exam with an in office doctor when I got home. One look in my eye, and he knew instantly what was wrong. I was diagnosed with a posterior subcapsular cataract in my right eye. This cataract was there during my first exam with MY EYE DOCTOR and was the cause of my blurry vision! The tech who looked at my eyes was obviously not well trained or had no idea what she was doing because she never mentioned a cataract snd acted like she was seeing normally into the inside of my eye!. As bad as my vision was she should not have been able to see much of anything of my internal eye. Suffice to say, I am now getting ready to have cataract surgery on both eyes to fix my vision. I am beyond angry that My Eye Doctor wasted my time and money and never told me at all that I had this aggressive cataract. I drive for a living and this could have cost me my CDL!

The manager "Julie" I believe is EXTREMELY rude. I came to pick up my glasses and I've never been talked to so rudely after telling her I needed to grab my kid from the car since it wasn't going to be a quick interaction. The rest of the staff is very sweet and helpful.

EDIT: They called, feining concern. She asked what happened, yet would talk over me and tried to lead the conversation. She was very rude and condescending. She tried to convince me to use them again, to correct the issues. But with the "customer service" i recieved? I think not. I have to wait till next year to use my insurance and get some new glasses. They do exams virtually. I didn't feel like they took my eye health or my questions seriously. You have to pay extra for scratch coat. I have never, in 55 years, had to pay for scratch coat. Even with 2 separate vision insurances, I still had to pay $200+ for what was doctor recommended and for basic glasses. Needless to say, I walked out with the worst experience ever. Go to a private office. You'll pay less and get more.
