I had the GREAT pleasure of being serviced by Jerome Graham at the Zebulon location, right next to Food Lion. He went above and beyond, explained everything very thoroughly and I was able to understand why I continued to view papers blurry but computer screens fine. I left their clinic VERY WELLED SATISFIED. I recommend this location, Jerome and the Providers to anyone who is having issues with their vision. If I could give then 20 stars, I would.

The office staff does not keep their word regarding insurance and repairs for their eyewear. I bought a pair of Meta glasses in August of last year. I purchased the insurance to ensure that any issues would be covered for the following year. I specifically asked the person selling me the glasses if I had any problems with the electronics, operation, structure, lenses, or any other issues, and if insurance would cover them. She looked me directly in the eyes and said, 'Yes, this insurance will cover any issues that may arise with these glasses.' I returned to the location last week because I'm experiencing electronic issues with my glasses. The guy then looks at me and says, 'Sorry, our insurance does not cover that.' I went over everything with him that I was told, and he still showed no concern for my issues, telling me to contact Meta and stating that there was nothing he could do. I said, 'How can you sell a pair of glasses, tell me they are completely covered, and then not keep your word to repair them?' He looked and said, 'I'm sorry.' I told him I cannot buy products from a company that does not stand behind its word. He said, 'I'm sorry to hear that.' I then got up and left, and the employees showed absolutely no concern or interest in my being upset, mad, or angry. They showed me a complete lack of respect or care. I have no use for a business of this magnitude

I Love Dr. Whitt he is very kind and he explains everything to you in a way that you understand. The office is very clean . The staff is super friendly and helpful . It's always easy to get in to see him and they work very efficiently to get you in and out . I have been going to him for 3 years now and I have had an unpleasant visit yet. I strongly recommend this off if your in need of eye care rather it's for the health of your eyes, contact or glasses this is a very good place to go !!!

My experience was horrible from the time I walked in the door. I walked in nobody in greeted me. I get to the counter and rudely the lady say Can I help you. I tell her I have an appointment rudely again she ask for my name. She then ask for my insurance card which gave. She handed me some paperwork to fill out. While filling my paperwork out I look up and this lady done laid my ins card on the counter top expose to anyone that walks by. I got up and for my ins card and I told her like you could've gave me my card back in my hand like. Once I was done filling out paperwork I took the paperwork n put it on the counter. The same lady walked past my paperwork sitting there. Another can from the back and got my paperwork for me after a few mins I left because I was already uncomfortable and I will never step a foot back in that face...

Was not told I would see a virtual doctor. Felt like I got the Temu version for eye care. I am sure they billed my insurance for the same price. The doctor was virtual and spent maybe 3 mins talking to me, wasn't very personable or friendly. The guy that helped me with my glasses was not nice and rushed me. Will not go back there.

We have made two separate appointments for this location and both were cancelled by the location MINUTES before the appointment time. The first time the remote Dr. called out sick which defeats the purpose of a remote Dr. The most recent time, the technician called out. You're probably safer going to a different location that has more staff or at least a larger pool of virtual doctors that can look at pictures and ask you if you have any questions.

Absolutely awful experience. Do not waste your time or money going to this place. I have been coming to this eye doctor for over a decade, and I've always had a fantastic experience- until this visit. Now they have a virtual eye doctor and their staff, while pleasant to talk to, aren't all that helpful since they take their direction from an out-of-office entity. My latest experience: I had an appointment on 6/26. It started off fine. I filled out my paperwork and was called back after a very reasonable amount of time. I then got all the preliminary tests completed and things were moving right along. Then the time came to meet with the virtual doctor to actually verify if my prescription needed to be modified. Come to find out, they do virtual appointments for those with contacts as well- so with no doctor present in the office, it becomes a nightmare when something goes wrong. I could hear the lady in the room trying to describe what was going on to the virtual doctor- but nothing was helping. I felt bad for her- and for some of the staff, but after waiting over 1.5 hours to do this last test to complete my visit, they couldn't even tell me how much longer my wait would be, so I simply had to leave. On the way out, I scheduled a return visit for the following Tuesday with the understanding that all I'd need to do is complete the last part of my exam and we'd be good to go. I verified this expectation with the front desk staff when I made the appointment. I return today (7/1) and they immediately waive the forms that I filled out the first time (as expected) and I get called back a few minutes later. As soon as I walk in the exam room, all I smell is Marijuana. I didn't expect to be in here long so I choose to ignore it. Then the optician starts doing the very same tests we did on 6/26. What? I quickly ask for an explanation as to why in the world are we starting this entire process over again? The optician goes and talks to another staff member and confirms that this what she has to do as apparently nothing was saved from my last visit. At this point, I tell them I have a meeting in an hour and they tell me there's no way to know if I'll be done in time. Frustrated, again, I tell them I simply can't afford to miss the meeting so I am just going to leave. The optician asks on my way out if I will be making a new appointment- to which I let out an involuntary laugh and say that I will be going elsewhere from now on. AVOID THIS PLACE. Look at the most recent reviews! With competent doctors present, everything flowed very well and it was a pleasant experience. Now, since they moved to this virtual system, this place has become a waste of time. I'm currently looking elsewhere for a alternative to MyEyeDr.
