I cannot say enough good things about this doctor. I moved here in April and immediately got established with another doctor at another facility. I felt strongly that the first doctor was way off with my Rx so I sought a second opinion. I'm so glad I did! If I could give him more stars I would. Thank you Dr. Hammerschmidt and staff!!

The whole experience was hands down the best I've never had at an eye doctor. Dr. Hammerschmidt took his time explaining in detail every machine and how my eyes work, his wife at the front desk was so kind and got me in within 2 days of calling, and the environment was so calm and clean. The Eyemart they have a huge selection of glasses, the staff is so helpful and kind, they are very cost friendly, and the best part THEY HAD MY GLASSES DONE FOR ME IN 15 MINUTES. I don't understand why everyone isn't going here, I know my family will continue to. Hands down amazing place!!

Dr. MICHAEL J. HAMMERSCHMIDT I took my child to him and this Dr. is an excellent resource. He explains his diagnosis and treatment to the point that you can learn about how your eyes sit or why they see the way they see. From my childhood to my adulthood I have never had a doctor explain everything and when I had more questions he explained and took his time to teach. Also, I haven't experienced an eye doctor explaining how eye contact is supposed to be in your eye and how it can get adjusted to sit correctly in your eye. I appreciate he chose a career that he is extremely excellent in his field. Thank you! Also, his secretary Nancy is a very kind and friendly lady and I appreciate her phenomenal customer service. Living here in North Dakota it is hard to come by good customer service. Recommend: 10/10!

Dr. Hammerschmidt was fantastic. He explained everything he was doing and why they do it. He answered every question I had and was very friendly. Overall a 10/10 experience and I will be back!

I chose to go to Prime Eyecare because I wanted a second opinion on a prescription from another doctor that I got within the last 2 months. I am so happy I went to see Dr Mike Hammerschmidt. Dr Mike Hammerschmidt and his Wife, treated me very kindly. Dr Mike goes into great detail on how your eyes work, and function. Which is so helpful to understand your Eyes. Very kind, warm Mannerisms. I was visiting Bismarck, and stopped in. I was very happy I did!!! Bismarck is very lucky to have Dr Hammerschmidt and his Wife!!

Dr. Hammerschmidt is very educated, patient and caring. The staff is attentive and goes out of there way to treat you like a guest, not a number. Highly recommend!
