If you are looking for an eye doctor who doesn't listen to your needs and refuses to help correct your vision - Dr. Vanessa is your gal & this is your place. However, if you are looking for help, solutions to better eyesight and don't like dumping money into overly inflated exam fees, and deceptive sales tactics for expensive non-refundable prescriptions - RUN FOR YOUR LIFE. I moved my care to Eyes on Broadway last Jan 2025. I was happy with my current provider, but needed a second opinion and to find a clinic that would help with hard to fit contacts (flat corneas). When explaining to the doctor about what my goals were and the need for help to correct major eye fatigue and headaches - she rushed through the appointment and sent me out the door with trial contacts. I special ordered some lenses for my current frames and ended up paying $600 out of pocket for lenses, fitting & the appointment. When trying on contacts, I realized that 1. they didn't work but 2. they were progressive contacts, which is not what I was looking for or asked for and took WEEKS to approve a single vision contact. Was told Dr. Vanessa was out of the office & would return my calls, which she NEVER did. As I had explained to her I would rather have computer glasses & distance glasses. When I received my new lenses they were progressive lenses. Which I had told her I DID NOT want, and didn't realize that is what was being ordered. My fault for 'trusting the process'. When I tried to exchange them, they told me I needed to 'give them time' to get used to. After struggling with the glasses, they then had me come back in to 'measure' the progressive lines, to which I said I'd rather return, get single vision lenses like I had wanted and order a pair of single vision computer lenses. They fought with me, explained to me this was a good solution and didn't listen to me AT ALL that I cold not see out them - to the point of tears. I had to BEG them to put in my old lenses - BEG and finally they put them in for me when I popped out the progressive lenses and handed to her and still REFUSED to exchange and make the correct new single vision lenses. I spoke with 2 of the Doctors there, and both ran around the fact that they are unable to listen to patients needs and goals. I'm incredibly disappointed in myself for switching to this clinic due to the convenience in the location & sounding promising when making the appointment. I will be going back to my fave - with the expectation that contacts are not my thing. I just needed this terrible second opinion to realize. I work within walking distance of this location and after a TON of back & forth with no resolution or solutions offered, except to take my money and not provide the service they promised - I have sent out an officewide email (to my 100+ colleagues) to NOT use Eyes on Broadway. Even though they SEEM like a convenient location and are in-network with our insurance.

These clowns make me miss South Dakota. I spent $312 here on contacts WITH insurance went in paid for my over priced exam didn't mind at the time. They then sent my trials cause I thought they could improve my my vision so couple weeks later I try them for three days and give them a call and told them they're blurry and keep giving me headaches. They tell me Dr. Vanessa isn't in so she'll give me a call tomorrow. A whole month goes by thinking the common sense thing they must've just ordered my original contacts since the trials didn't work. Nope I had to call them and they acted all confused and then texted me my blurry vision was because they ordered me the wrong prescription and that's why I couldn't see lol well no duh. So instead of calling me back for over a month or even checking on me they were just content on ordering me the wrong prescription and never returning my calls this place is terrible and over priced. Never have I had to pay for an exam and then my contacts as well lol all I got for their terrible business practices was were sorry you had to call twice do you want us to send you the bill to order your original contacts? Haha clown show. Go somewhere else where they actually care and treat you right and aren't just a dollar sign!

My eye exam was quick and efficient but still felt personal. I am glad to support a local business and see a provider in-person. Their eyewear selection is high quality and stylish.

I had a vision issue i was concerned about. I called Eyes On Broadway and they got me in right away. Doctor Rexine thoroughly explained what was going on and made a plan to deal with it. I really feel i went to the right place. I mean it's your vision, right? Doc's and staff are very friendly and professional. Highly recommend!

Dr. Vanessa is so good with my 3-year-old twins. She's patient, kind and my girls love her. All of the staff here is just incredible. We've been coming here for a little over a year now and me and my girls both love everyone!!

Great visit today. Dr Rexine was his usual helpful smiling self. Always appreciated Rest of staff was professional and caring. Special note to Shawn that I appreciated his low pressure approach to frame sales. "Are you considering new frames....do you want some help?.......your insurance doesn't cover expenses, do you want to continue with the purchase?"
