Walmart Vision & Glasses

November 2025: We have been going her for over 10 years. Never had an issue till now, the new doctor does not take insurance for exams, cash only!!! WTH, but they still take insurance for glasses and contacts. What kind of people does Walmart have working for them !!!

Lady at the front desk very rude and aggressive, not sure why. No one else is here, she is not busy. Doctor has no consideration for your time. Showed up early for my appointment, that was pointless. They made sure to take my money before telling me she wasn't even in the building yet and is running late. Will not be back, and wouldn't recommend this office to anyone.

Made an opthamologist appointment for 10:30 a.m; At 11 a.m. the opthamologist still was not there, so I canceled my appointment and had my money refunded. My time is just as valuable as theirs, I just wish they hadn't wasted my time. I do not recommend this place.

Heather Alcorn, O.D. provided excellent service. Very intelligent young lady, she answered all my questions. She informed me of options in my care. She was polite and respectful. I never felt rushed. She went out of her way to provide excellent service. Walmart Vision Center just recently made a great business decision hiring Heather Alcorn, O.D. I would have given 5 stars but after deciding which frames I wanted to buy, and went to order and pay for my glasses, One lady just got off the phone and started talking about remodeling. Both continued their remodeling conversation while I sat in front of them waiting for them to acknowledge my presents. The young lady had long black curly hair, who was taking my order. She just ignored me and continued to talk about remolding. I got her full attention when I stood up and walked a way. The customer is a priority. WalMart Vision Center needs to provide in service to employees on "How To Focus on Customer Service". Thank God Walmart Vision Center recently hired Heather Alcorn.

The Doctor at this location is wonderful, unfortunately the staff you have to deal with for your appt. and ordering your contacts or glasses are very unprofessional. They are rude and disrespectful to customers. When you ask them a question they treat you like you are asking them to do something other then there job. I would not recommended this vison center at all.

July 19th Very bad experience, horrible customer service. I just wanted to get my eyes checked and go to work. The woman doctor kept trying to get me to do and pay extra for multiple tests that I didn't need or ask for I paid in cash they didn't have a trial pair of contacts for me in my prescription which I understand happens. I wear air optix she talked me into getting ultra sent me home with something close. Two weeks later I called to see if my contacts were in I was told there were no contacts for me and there was no order. Was told the doctor was not in she would call me the next day the next day came and no call I called them they told me there was never any order they didn't know what happened I told them just order my air optix then when I pick them up you can finalize my prescription they said okay we are talkin about trial pair contacts. Today is the 26th of August I called they told me they did not have any contacts I already received them I said no I did not receive them he said I apologize there is also no contacts here for you and nothing on order.. for some reason they finalized my prescription on the 19th of August... So it took them 37 days to tell me they never ordered my trial pair that I wasn't going to get a trial pair that I paid for. in my prescription, not close to it!!! And it was finalized on the 19th of August not the 26th when I went to pick it up... You should be ashamed of yourself I will never ever bring my business there and I will let everyone know not to go there and what happened this is happening way too often anymore......

I've been going to this walmart vision for yrs, I am aware there is not a Dr on site, I was reading the post they had in front of the store, the lady sitting at the eye exam table was VERY RUDE, ACTUALLY YELLING AT ME, WE ARE NOT OPEN!!!!, I REPLIED that I was well aware there wasn't a Dr on site, she seemed to be very upset that she had to put her phone down to address my question, continued to ignore me with her eyes rolling, I have changed my Dr and a place where I'm treated with respect and not felt like I m a inconvenience.very disappointed in Walmart vision alliance
