Bloomberg Eyecare, now part of MyEyeDr.

Im very disappointed with the attitude i received when calling. They had no regard for caring for my child who needed a second pair of glasses and and eye exam. They told no-one that they were bough out by someone else and "dont hold second glasses anymore" when in-fact my second daughter had a second pair through here. They told my daughter and her dad they had no appointments till march but the website has openings for November 3. Very not okay. Very not business like. Don't like the attitude over glasses and appointments she is 6 years old and did not care she lost her glasses or needed an appointment wont be coming back. What kind of business doesn't want to do what they are here for?

The receptionists are very rude! She tried to say my son had never been there and that we had the wrong place. When we have been there several times. Then she said that our appointment was rescheduled when it never was! I showed her my text confirmation and everything and she still proceeded to argue with me. The absolute worst place to go with the rudest front receptionist! Now I know why they have terrible reviews and no one goes!

Always had a great experience, been a customer for years. Been to others and didn't like the glasses or doctor. Staff has always treated me very nice

I went to Bloomberg Eyecare in Austintown. I could not have treated any better. I was able to get an appointment immediately. The front staff is very professional and friendly. The doctor too is great. He took his time, answered all my questions and explained everything to me. I was not treated as just another assembly line patient, rushing me out the door. I would recommend this location. They are a great example of patient care.

I was having visual disturbances with my left eye and they got me in the same day. Took their time doing tests and explaining everything. I now have to go to a Retinal specialist after my diagnosis. So happy with Bloomberg staff and Dr Hostetter for taking care of me.

The staff in front are extremely rude! Especially the lady named Beth. She started arguing with a customer in front of another customer with her 2 children there. I called management and notified them but nothing was done. They need a whole new staff. I absolutely do NOT recommend this place to anyone. Very unprofessional service. They messed up submitting the insurance for my sons glasses then would not the 5 min to fix the issue they caused! They had me going back and forth driving from place to place because they are lazy and didn't want to do their job. I will be submitting this to the better business bureau also.

I decided to go here for contacts. As soon as I get there, the woman at the front desk was extremely rude and reeked of cigarettes. She actually laughed at me when telling me my insurance wouldn't cover it. I proceeded to get an eye exam. The person giving the eye exam treated me like a small child. She would give very unclear directions and then actually reprimand me for not following correctly. While waiting for the next part, I could hear them all in the next room speaking loudly about how they can't stand the changes at their job and certain aspects about it. When it was time to test out my contacts, I was struggling. Multiple people came by the room and not one checked up on me or offered any advice or assistance with getting them in. Overall a horrible experience and it seems like I was an inconvenience to them. I've had better treatment at Americas Best and LensCrafters. I thought by going here I'd get a more personalized experience but I was wrong.

I don't understand the other reviews because I have had nothing but great visits with this location. I have switched my husband..me and all five of my kids over to them. You can imagine the visits. Luckily, I have two kids who didn't need glasses, but they did awesome with their routine checkup. The ladies there helped me on my first visit when I didn't know my insurance for vision. It was called something else, and I didn't have a card. They did the work on investigating for me. My third visit told me what other benefits I have with another insurance for my two of my kids. Which I didn't even know I had. They call to let you know pickup time, and each time, they sit us down to test the glasses and confirm they fit and work. It was so friendly that I even had conversations about the receptionists pets. Yes, they prefer you to wear a mask. Small little inconvenience, but it's their place of business, I'll do it. They even provide you with a mask if you forget it.
