Just based on the telephone calls that I've had with the receptionist I wouldn't even give this a one. I called once and telling her that I thought I had torn my retina. She told me that I would need to call a retinal specialist who I was told by the retinal specialist that I need a referral. 2 hours later I'm calling her back to find out if she took my insurance and she gave me the run-around about not being able to be seen on Monday cuz that's the doctor's surgeries and I told her I needed to be seen sooner because I thought I tore my retina and she said well we don't take emergencies either AND we don't see new patients. So who does he see? I GUESS NOBODY HE JUST PAYS FOR OUR PHONE BILL FOR NO REASON.

Great success with both eyes! Cataracts removed and surgically implanted lenses. My experience was 100% exceptional from his kind and helpful staff to his skill as a surgeon. I've worn glasses all my left and have never been corrected to 20/20 and now I can see better than ever. Kudos also to the staff and nurses at the WVU Medicine Surgery Center in Martins Ferry. This has been an outstanding experience and I would definitely recommend going to Dr. Bannan for your eye surgery needs.

Have had cataracts in both eyes surgically corrected by Dr. Bannan. Each separate experience was excellent. From beginning to end Dr. Bannan and his staff provided professional, compassionate and caring services. Just had second eye surgically corrected yesterday and just a few hours after surgery I received a personal call from Dr. Bannan asking how I was doing. And one day later after surgery, my eye has no blurriness or halos and I am quite pleased with the results. Would highly recommend Dr. Bannan and his staff and I have to friends and family.

This office is AWFUL!!! The receptionist is the rudest woman I've ever met. I wouldn't take my worst enemy here. I'd honestly rate it -5 if they let me.
