Walmart Vision & Glasses

Went in on a Sunday and Robyn helped me. I had some issues with glasses I purchased there. She was friendly and helpful. She couldn't help me right then and there, but said she would call back on Monday. I was skeptical, but not only was she able to help resolve it the next day but she was fantastic to work with. There was another associate in addition to Robyn that worked there when I got my glasses and she was also very cool. Highly recommend.

The new doctor is HORRIBLE! They will not fix his mistakes also. My fiance went in, and he lowered her prescription, which she complained before she left and they said to give it a couple of days and they will adjust, it didn't. She can't even wear them without getting sick or dizzy. They refused to re test her and make it right. We paid out of pocket, so we are out a couple of hundred dollars. I will let everyone I know to avoid this location and Dr.

Wildly incompetent and disrespectful staff. Went in July for a new contact prescription, and they gave me a glasses prescription instead. Went back and got my contact prescription and got that sorted out. Decided to order glasses a couple months later and realized the prescription was completely inaccurate. Called to see if I could get my prescription over the phone and was put on hold for a few minutes because the lady said she was the only one there. That was fine. When she got back to me, she started off by telling me that I couldn't get the pupillary distance over the phone because they don't have it, and I would get it when I order glasses. I was trying to order glasses online. I asked if I'd have to come in to get my PD and she said they didn't have it , and couldn't measure it. I asked if I'd have to come in to get another exam and order glasses in person, and she said she could give me what was written down when I got my exam, but it would probably be inaccurate. Why lie to me or make stuff up? To do less work? She gave me a PD number, then read off the same inaccurate prescription from before. I told her it had to be wrong based on years of previous glasses prescriptions and got "you're thinking of your contact prescription, honey". First of all, I don't know this woman. It's completely unprofessional and disrespectful to call me "honey". Second, I've worn glasses and contacts for years, I know for the most part what my prescription looks like for both, and the one given to me by Walmart was very inaccurate. Glasses are expensive, and I can't be wasting time and money getting the wrong thing because they're incompetent. I was basically told in the end that they don't have a doctor anymore, won't be getting another one, and that I would just have to go pat money somewhere else to get an accurate prescription. I'm appalled that I wasted time and money trying to get an eye exam, and that I got disrespected like this for just trying to get some glasses.

The Dr and associates are fantastic!! The ladies went out of their way to make sure we were charged appropriately for copays. The billing dept however, is a different story. I am currently fighting with them. I can't fault the people at the store for their billing dept. Because of the billing dept we will not be returning to Walmart Vision.

I was told I could get another trial size pair of contacts if anything happened to the ones I was given at my appt if my contacts I ordered were not in yet. I called up there to get another pair and was told no, they dont do that. I explained that the older woman who worked there told me I could he denied it. I no longer trust them, the employees lie. Absolutely terrible. Then was told I should have back up glasses, well what do you think I was getting contacts for? I cant pay for both contacts AND glasses out of pocket. It's so ridiculous!!

I purchased two pairs of glasses from walmart a couple years ago. My glasses broke in half so I called them back and wanted another pair. They said they still had my prescription from a different doctor who did my eye exam before I found out my insurance was not accepted by current doctor. So I went to walmart which worked out fine. Now today, Instead of asking if I would like to be seen by their eye doctor they told me to go back and get an updated script. I said don't you do testing she said yes but no openings until Monday and the doctor probably wouldn't come in on New Years Eve where she had openings so next Thursday would be the earliest. Apparently they don't need the business so I'm off to Toledo to see what I can get.

The employees here were so helpful and kind to us. They took extra time to help and offered several options. We were very impressed!

Doctor was super friendly and was very thorough! All the staff within the vision center were super friendly and informative!
