Drs. Favede & Associates

I'd give less stars if I could. I've been a patient here for years. I got United Healthcare insurance (to go with my Medicaid) in 2022. I got glasses from Dr. Favede in 2023 but not in 2024. I called at the end of 2024 to make an appointment. I was given a date in early January. My insurance WAS NOT discussed. I arrived for my appointment and was "greeted" by Sabrina at the front desk. Sabrina tells me they no longer accept my insurance and that they could not just bill my secondary. Sabrina then tells me that this mixup was my fault for giving them incorrect information when I called about the appointment. I tell Sabrina that I wasn't asked. Sabrina tells me I'm wrong and they ask everyone. I have an MS in Physical Therapy, almost 15 years of clinical experience (including managing clinics) and over a decade managing my own illness. I understand insurance and how important it is. I have never had this issue before. No one asked me about my insurance when I made the appointment. I asked to speak with Dr Favede and I left a message that was never returned. It's fine. I easily found another doctor and promptly got glasses that are better quality than the last pair I got from Dr Favede. There are complaints and rumors all over town and the internet about this practice. A lot of the complaints have to do with the office staff. The staff seems all new. I'm positive the complaints have to do with Sabrina. Her customer service skills are on par with a teenager (she's much older). Sabrina acts like she's the head of the practice instead of someone who answers the phone for a living. She's replaceable by a machine so maybe that's where her awful attitude comes from. It's interesting that while I was there I heard two appointments made by phone and no insurance was discussed. Change jobs Sabrina, you're awful with people and you're certainly damaging Dr Favede's practice.

I am thoroughly satisfied with the care provided by Dr. Favede and his staff. My new glasses are ideal, and their commitment to eye care excellence is evident. I am grateful to have them as my provider and highly recommend their services.

Outstanding care from the moment we walked in the door. The nurse welcomed me as she took me back to do some tests. It's stressful moving and having to go through the process of finding new care. Dr. Favede the younger is very knowledgeable and personable and I know we're in good hands. While waiting for my husband Dr. Favede the original was talking with a patient about new eye glasses. You could tell that he cared about his patients and greeted me as well. 10 stars!

Best care ever ! The entire staff and Dr Favede are kind , efficient , accommodating , personable and knowledgeable. When you receive a call from the Dr himself to check on you , you know you're in a great place . I will never go anywhere else. Thank you all !

My sister was dying of pancreatic cancer. I had to cancel a few times and they fired me. She died in 8 weeks 1 day. Not very sympathetic. I tried to explain, but she said, their policy.

Ive been going there since I was 10. Over 30 years later and I have no intention on going anywhere else, ever! They are the best!

Amazing staff. My family has been going to Dr Favede over 10 yrs and no complaints ever.

How convenient !! All (5) reviews are 5 Star... Lol ... So we all know what that means ... I truly shared my negative experience and it's no longer there. So I take it anything less than 5 Star is your complying with Google. Give me a break ... Lol
