So many great things I can say about my experience with Eye Specialists of Ohio. I began having issues with my vision and made an appointment with Dr. Schumacher at the Grove City office. He discovered I had cataracts and recommended surgery. I went to the Circleville office for my first cataract surgery yesterday! I was very nervous. The entire staff was very friendly and professional, they reassured me I would not feel anything and they were right! Dr. Schumacher explained the entire process as it went and kept asking if I was doing ok. I highly recommend Eye Specialists of Ohio! Thank you for everything!!! 5 stars for everyone!

My experience here has been great. I am very nearsighted and needed cataract surgery on my right eye. The staff was very friendly and explain things thoroughly at each step. Then I saw Dr. Chawla and he explained the procedure. I was prepped and taken in in surgery. It lasted maybe 5 or 6 minutes. There wasn't any pain, just some pressure. I was numbed up thoroughly. The next day I could see almost 20/20 out of my eye and colors are really bright. I'm so glad I did this and glad I came here.

Gross/Disgusting. Took my mom here... ridiculously long waits for appointments... appointment is 1000 and and it's 1100 before they call you back. A hour! This is typical! Office lobby and rooms are so out dated, holes, stains, everywhere. Lobby bathroom was disgusting "poo" everywhere. Ceiling tiles stained, same trash on floor from one day to the next.

Mixed my grandma's appointments up twice and acted like it was are fault. My grandma is in a wheelchair as many of their patients are and old and can't see well. The parking lot is terrible with holes and uneven spots everywhere. There is no handicap button to push for automatic opening on doors and there are two you have to go through to get inside. The bed she had to get in for her surgery didn't raise up or down she could barely get in it. I seen all elderly and handicap patients in there but not set up for elderly or handicap at all. They make all that money off of them but can't fix it to suit them.

My appointment was at 8am and the doctor didn't even pull in the parking lot till 8:35am. The staff was rude, inconsiderate, eating telling patients to hold on while they finished, others who were not busy sat and stared at people. Was not greeted when entered and when I finally did see the doctor at 8:50am he spent 5min of poor bedside manner, taking my suggestions and asking me for dosage amounts!? I have never been treated so poorly to take my time off work to wait for a waste of time!

I had my appointment with Dr. Chawla. After seeing him I spoke with a staff member about the type of implant that I would like to have. I told him that I had to think about this and he said that if I had any questions to call and ask for him. I have called the office TWICE, left 2 messages and they have NOT called me back. So much for me having my cataract surgery done with them- obviously they don't want my insurance money.

The communication at this location is poor. I was called the day prior to see if I was willing to adjust my appointment time due to the Dr. having a schedule change. I declined, no problem at all. I arrive 30 minutes as the documentation stated before my appointment. I did just so. Upon arrival, the receptionist who isn't the friendliest says I'm early and that my appointment is scheduled an hour later. Despite my documentation says my appointment time. I didn't care for the Charissa and her attitude at all. Everyone else is SUPER nice and welcoming so for that, I am appreciative!! Micayla, Reyna and Kiah are the sweetest, ever!! So helpful and down to earth!
p.s, THE BATHROOM IS FILTHY!!!!!!!!! As a health care providing facility, they should not have such gross standards.
