I was referred to Dr. Alice Epitropoulos by my wonderful retiring ophthalmologist. He did not hesitate a second to recommend Dr. Epitropoulos, whom he said was an outstanding and highly respected ophthalmologist in Columbus.He also told me that Dr.E is well known for treating dry eye conditions. I have a lot of trouble with dry eye tearing. Dr. E prescribed daily eye drops and an eye gel. I was amazed at how quickly the eyes responded. No more annoying and embarrassing tearing since starting Dr.E's daily drops and gel regiment. At my appointment, I also raised my concern about cataracts clouding my vision. After a thorough eye examination, Dr. E told me that my cataracts were "ripe" for removal. After seeing how successful the dry eye problem was resolved, I was ready! I was ready because I knew that I had found the best doctor, someone that I could completely trust with my eyes. I have just completed the right eye cataract surgery and recovery. I have already scheduled left eye cataract surgery. I followed Dr. E's explicit instructions throughout, and as a result, I have not had one problem. I am truly grateful to Dr. E for being someone that I could completely trust with my health. I feel the same way about her amazing team. You all have my deepest gratitude and appreciation. I recently had cataract surgery on one eye and shortly after that I had surgery on the other eye. The results have been amazing and I am seeing better than I have in years and I do not need any correction for distance or reading. Previously I needed correction for both. As good as that has been, I have been even more impressed with the care Dr Epitropoulos exhibited throughout. Because I have issues with my left eye that are unrelated to the cataract, she spent considerable time with me, talking through the risks and making sure I was comfortable with the approach she was taking. She even called me the night before surgery and she was unhurried as we discussed again the approach being taken and setting me at ease that the surgery would be successful. I truly appreciate her skill as a surgeon and the manner in which she cared for me as a patient. I was also impressed and pleased with how efficient the presurgery appointments were, how efficient the surgeries were, and how efficient the post operative appointments were. That is a testament to her and her great staff.

The BEST for cataracts and dry eye and related issues. Saved me $2,000 compared to Revision in Polaris and the result was significantly better because she was able to use laser surgery to correct astigmatism of the cornea then use a standard "Medicare" paid lens. Later she corrected secondary cataracts both anterior and posterior in both eyes at different times following surgery and today at 79 years old my eyesight is 20/20 and I see clearer than at 65 years old. Wonderful bedside manner and very hands on approach to get the very best possible outcome. I refer my friends and family to Dr. Epitropoulos.

My appointments with Dr Epitropoulos have been great. I have some complicated vision issues and she addressed some, referred me to great referrals for others and I also had a great experience with cataract surgery. She has been clear and had great follow up-calling personally the evening after surgery to check in when I was already scheduled with her for early the next morning. Definitely recommend her.

Fantastic treatment she provided. It's was very scary to thinkof eye cutting but she made the surgeries a pieceful event. No pain whatsoever. All workers were great as well. I should hsve done my cataracts years ago.

I could not be more pleased with my cataract surgery! The difference is absolutely remarkable. I had no idea how much clarity and experience of colors I had lost. Everyone was so professional and kind and the Doc could not have been better. Wonderful experience. Can't wait to get the 2nd eye done.

I had cataracts in both eyes and trusted my eyes with Dr E. Best choice ever!! She is a doctor that I felt that my eyes were in good hands and her staff/the center was very attentive to my needs (fear since it was my eyes), helped to calm me, was supportive and even held my hand during the surgery! After having Dr. Alice remove both my cataracts and implanting both heavy duty lenses I can see things so clearly I could never see before. She is a godsend. It was well worth the money spent. I am forever grateful to her.
