During cataract surgery he replaced the old lenses with mono lens. He had only told me the wonderful benefits of momo...never wearing glasses again, curing my astigmatism. But he did not precede the surgery with procedures to see if my brain would accept the momo vision. No contacts to practice with, nothing. I was 60 when he did the surgery. At first it seemed okay but I started having problems in the months after. Double vision while viewing TV and when driving. Now six years later I cannot drive at night due to double vision. I would NEVER recommend mono vision without first making sure your brain can adapt. I wish I had.
