I've been a longtime patient at Clarkson Eye Care on Town Street. My previous optometrist retired so I recently saw his partner Dr. Koerner for the first time. I loved my former provider, so I had high hopes for my first visit with Dr. Koerner. I am glad to say that Dr. Koerner is now my new optician! Give him a try. You'll be happy you did l!

This is a beautiful office. I enjoyed the atmosphere as it was relaxing and esthetically pleasing. Its tucked away and quiet too. The Doc was very personable and kind. I did enjoy him demonstrating details from his explanations. I like to be informed and he put me at ease with what seemed to be his joy in his work. So definitely a great choice. Also the young lady who helped me was kind.

I went to Clarkston Eye Care and ordered my glasses on 12/31/25. I called and asked were my glasses in and the gentleman said yes and give us 2 days to unpack them. 2 days later I received a text message that my glasses were in. I went to pick them up and they said they did not come. I ask the worker why did I receive a text message from the center where I purchased them if they were not in. The worker said you have to physically get a phone call. I said who us sending out bogus from your center if they were not in. I called corporate and filed a complaint. That is 2 days I wasted my gas and time. The lady from corporate said I would recieve a telephone call. As of today 1/23/26 they still are not in, nor did I receive a call from corporate. I believe this is very bad business. I had changed locations because I had taken my glasses back 8 times to get fixed. I would not recommend Clarkston Eye Care at all. I will do my business else where to be treated with respect and such poor wait time.

I've been seeing Dr Koerner for over 25 years. As usual he was thorough. Dr Koerner asked questions, shared information and educated me in a problem I was having with my eye. The staff at the front desk were quick to respond. The optician in the eyeglass area was helpful. She shared my insurance benefits and cost alternatives. She was efficient with my time!

I came in on Dec 22 Ordered a new contact. Was told it would take 2 weeks. 56 days later still no contact. Your customer service sucks! I have called numerous times only to get the run around. You need to do better, this wait time is ridiculous and totally unacceptable.

Been waiting for my glasses for 2weeks. Called for an update to see the status of my glasses and got put on hold for 10+ minutes so I hung to call back. I called back and could finally get some help only to hear that my glasses weren't ready. Then after the phone call I received two text messages saying my glasses were ready for pickup. I go to pick my glasses up to only hear that they lost my glasses and I have to wait until they find them or until the "lab" takes another two weeks to remake them.
I'll never be back. It has been the worst experience of my life. I need my glasses as I'm a mother of three and it's illegal for me to drive without my glasses. I will NEVER do business here ever again. Ever.

I have been a patient for 32 years. The prices have gone up considerably since it became Clarkson. I can no longer afford to come here for my eyecare. Since I like both of the doctors I continued but as of this week the cost plus the drive are too much for a senior on a limited income
