The optometrist is absolutely great. The office staff could use some improvement. I had my eye exam on January 12th. I was told my glasses would be in about 2 weeks from that day. I gave it 3 weeks because we had a snow storm that shut down some businesses. After three weeks I called and my glasses were not in. I was given no explanation, but was told they would check with their lab. Today, February 23rd, 6 weeks from my date of service, I called again. I was told my glasses are in. During the entire six weeks, I was not given the courtesy of a single phone call. As a business operator myself, this is just not the way to keep clients returning. I recommend some re-education of the staff.

They are great for exam but they will have you call back in to confirm contact prescriptions and they will not answer their call and them is full. You can go to appt and get a 3rd party company to send them an email but I still am waiting for help and it's been 4 days. Will have to drive back up there on my day off just to tell them my contacts are good and to get my prescription. Never again will I go here

Despite confirming my appointment multiple times over the phone and via text, the so-called manager Alisha canceled our appointment without any notice and left for the day. We were never informed,we found out only after showing up. What makes this even more unacceptable is that the appointment was canceled simply because we do not have insurance, even though we had already clearly confirmed that we would be paying out of pocket. This was discussed and agreed upon in advance. To make matters worse, our confirmed appointment was given to someone else. This felt like clear discrimination and a total lack of respect for our time. Extremely disappointing experience. I would not recommend this place-Lens Crafter, Reynoldsburg Ohio to anyone who values professionalism, communication, and basic courtesy.

Amazing staff, fast, efficient and professional. Got me in and out. I was discouraged when I entered and left with a smile and great news. The staff were all very friendly and helpful from the beginning to the end of my exam even with a major computer crash in their office (Amazon). I'm looking forward to returning to pick up my new eyewear

Great experience at Clarkson Eyecare! Friendly staff, thorough exam, and the doctor explained everything clearly. The process was easy and efficient from start to finish. Highly recommend!

This place is absolutely ridiculous. We've gone here for years and until 2025, have had no issues. We've tried to pay the outstanding bill of $220.55 online, by phone, and in the office twice now and our payment was declined each time. The online/phone will not accept an FSA card. I realize FSA cards can be finicky at times so my husband has gone into pay this bill in person twice now and has been turned away with the associate stating "I need to talk to my manager because I don't think you have a balance due". Today we received a nasty letter stating "We have not received any response from you regarding your outstanding balance." My husband was there to pay the balance on September 29, 2025 and was told that our insurance states every other year for frames. We showed proof that it is every single year. They didn't believe us. Oh we will get back to you we have to contact your insurance.......no phone call came, just another bill. We tried twice online, declined. Called the number and "talked" to AI Billie, declined. Then tried one more time and got a real person overseas and they would not take the payment since I am not the patient, they needed my husband's consent to pay the balance! Wow! Ridiculous! That same day, he went back to the Reynoldsburg location to pay and that is when he got the "I need to talk to my manager because you may not owe a balance". Even though we've moved, we continued to go here even though it was out of the way. After this, we've decided to end the relationship with Clarkson. Oh and if you do not confirm fast enough they will cancel your appointment. No call, no nothing. Businesses that use AI for their customer service should really think about how terrible it is. Whatever billing system you started using in 2025 was a horrible mistake.

I been an patient with clarkson eyecare center for 5 years Dr Allison is always very nice and kind to me and the whole staff are so very nice and kind I enjoy my visits l always get the very best of service

From the time I walked through the door on my first visit I was you greeted with so much love and then I was told to do paperwork and they called to do my exam even before I finish my paperwork they were so fast and courteous excellent staff excellent to the people who perform the test on my eyes I would recommend anyone who need glasses to come to this place here
