the optometrist practicing here is an interesting dude. you could probably get slightly more comprehensive (albeit a bit more droll) care elsewhere, but it's a fun experience to get your eyeball stats checked if you've been neglecting these vision visits for awhile. thanks to the stylish, cool guy in the front who helped me pick out frames, he's also the one who helped me realize that was no ordinary examination haha. here's an example to demonstrate this point: it's almost as if Dr. Bennett was annoyed when i asked him to switch back between lenses (1 vs 2) because he ruuushes that part, which is the most CRITICAL part of the experience?!? we get it, doc, you're sharp, but c'mon give the patient more time to process which is better without coming across as though you're irritated. nothing but love! speaking of which, to the ebony goddess at the front desk: feel free to text my number on file any time. and don't worry about "not dating patients".. i doubt i'll be returning any time soon lol. take care, y'all

I had a great experience shopping at Columbus Eye Works on Saturday, February 21. The staff was friendly, helpful and got me back to my exam very quickly. The eye doctor was very professional and had a sense of humor.
The real highlight of my visit was Lex, the Optician. The store was busy at the time however Lex was absolutely worth the wait! Lex help me find the exact pair of eyeglasses I've been wanting all year and was very knowledgeable about my insurance, helping be save money out of pocket. Her charming personality truly made my day.
If you're shopping for new eyewear, I highly recommend Columbus Eye works on 25 Hubbard avenue. Columbus, Ohio and asking for Lex!

I met Dr. Bennett went in need of emergency care for viral pink eye. They got me in the same day, and he offered a solution and explained in detail what I could expect. Details that were not necessarily pleasant, but ended up being accurate. I was well prepared for what was to come. In the end, the treatment reduced the period of me being contagious considerably.
Dr. Bennett has, perhaps, a less than traditional bedside manner that I find incredibly engaging. He is straightforward, certainly credible, a bit sarcastic, and ultimately kind.
I've been a patient for more than two years now. He's proactive and errs on the side of caution. He's thorough, and his staff is professional, with most making you feel welcomed.
I would strongly recommend him to most people. Probably not my mother because she has no sense of humor when it comes to doctors... But to everyone else.
