Dr. Gregory D. Searcy, MD

I first became acquainted with Dr. Searcy over ten years ago when he removed my cataracts and implanted corrective lenses in both eyes. Now, at 72 years old, I still have 20/20 vision. In addition, by using a laser procedure he has kept my eye pressure under control without the need for eye drops. If that were not enough, he has never failed to greet me with a smile and a handshake. The best compliment I can give is that over the years I have, and will continue to recommend Dr. Searcy to my family, friends.

Dr. Searcy's staff was thorough, pleasant, professional and knowledgeable. They were efficient and helped keep Dr. Searcy on schedule. They kept me informed of the process and what to expect every step of the way. Dr. Searcy was thorough, knowledgeable, and highly skilled. He instilled confidence and answered all my questions. Not only would I return to Dr. Searcy if ever needed I would refer my family, friends and patients to him without hesitation.

I was referred to Dr. Searcy about 10 years ago when on an exam for glasses the doctor noticed an indentation in my eye indicating glaucoma and referred me to Dr. Searcy. He has taken care of me since helping with pressures in my eyes with laser surgeries and removing the start of cataracts and implant of lenses so I do not wear glasses anymore and my vision has stayed stable since 2011 and the technicians and doctors are amazed how good my eye site is.

Dealing with this doctor was the most disrespectful and offensive experience I have ever had when dealing with an eye doctor. I was referred to him by my lasik doctor for an issue that began 9 months ago. Dr. Searcy was verbally abusive, never let me finish a sentence, when I attempted to tell him about what I have went through regarding my eyes over the last 9 months and what my lasik doctors diagnosis was (which is why I was there in the first place) he insisted I was wrong about my own eye experiences and continuously kept saying to me over and over..."60 patients a day over 20 years, um...I think I know what I'm talking about". He continued to tell me I was wrong about when my pain started (apparently he knew when my eyes began to have problems and what the cause was even though he had just met me 3 minutes prior), he told me over and over I was wrong about what I went through and when my own eyes started giving me problems, he also told me to stop talking when I continued to try to tell him what my lasik doctor had said and wanted me to discuss with him. Like I said, this was the most disrespectful and unprofessional doctor I have ever dealt with in my life, and I am 47 years old. Absolutely shocking, it's shocking that a medical professional would speak and deal with patients this way.

I went to Dr. Searcy for cataract surgery. It was the best decision. The outcome has been amazing. Dr. Searcy did an outstanding job. He is a great person, caring, and gives you his compete attention. I highly recommend Dr. Searcy.

If I could give this doctor zero Stars I would! I believe when you are referred to a specialist that specialist should do your exam not have technicians do the exam and pop his head in for 30 seconds at the end! I was not happy with the quality of the care that I received at this facility! I sat there for 3 hours! I saw Dr Searcy for a Whole 30 seconds at the end. This is not what I call Quality Care.

I highly recommend Dr Gregory Searcy, he and his staff are professional, courteous and willing to spend time with you to answer all questions and thoroughly explain diagnosis, treatments, etc. I'm loving my restored 20/20 vision after recently having cataract surgery, performed by Dr. Searcy.

RACISM IS VERY APPARENT WITH THEIR STAFF...WAS THERE A FEW TIME THE FIRST TIME...I LEFT CAME BACK YEARS LATER.. MADE IT ONE VISIT..AND THEY LET ME KNOW "MY KIND" WAS NOT WELCOME AND THEY WILL BE REFERRING ME ELSEWHERE!
