Dublin Vision Care

Dr. Berger has been my provider for about six years, and I have not had any issues with her care. She is flexible and accommodating with scheduling, and gives thorough, productive exams. She is always accurately knowledgeable about changes in insurance coverage, and is excellent at processing the necessary paperwork and billing. Her selection of frames is impressive--especially the variety of price points and styles. Getting contacts quickly is never a problem, either. Great service all around. (Thanks, Dr. Berger!)

BEWARE! DO NOT GO HERE! I rarely leave bad reviews because I don't want to affect someone's livelihood, but this was hands down the WORST experience I have ever had at a medical "professional's" office. Her practice looked like a scene from hoarders; there was junk piled everywhere. Very unsanitary conditions with no sink to wash your hands when removing or inserting contact lenses. She was extremely unprofessional and spent 90% of her time complaining about her patients. She kept referring to "those people on Medicare/Medicaid" and how they expect everything for free. I was mortified and could not believe she was so inappropriate. I also had to hear all about her drug addicted daughter. The most shocking part was when she stopped midway through my exam to order Chinese carryout for dinner. The appointment was wrapped up by her asking me what the interest rate was on my credit card when I paid for my exam. Please, do your research and consider going elsewhere because this experience was beyond awful!

Absolutely horrible experience with her. She is extremely unprofessional. Her office is cluttered and dirty. There are boxes stacked precariously everywhere. She has no receptionist and constantly interrupted my appointment to answer the phone. She complained incessantly throughout my appointment - it took almost 2 hours for a standard appointment. Even after all of this, she gave me a very poor glasses prescription that was too strong. I had headaches for weeks. She gave me a run-around about picking up contact lenses. Two weeks after my appointment, they weren't in yet. Two weeks later, they still weren't in. I gave up on waiting and decided to go to a different doctor. At the new eye doctor, they know Dr. Berger for her awful reputation. They took excellent care of me there, so I will never see Dr. Berger again. Avoid her at all costs!

First of all "Dr" Berger talked almost non-stop. I went in for an eye exam and contact lenses also. I was in the chair for over an hr. I had a red mark on my forehead from leaning my face against machine for so long. I picked out my 1 pair of frames from the minimal, dusty and outdated selection(should have left then). Then she said we ran out of time and I had to come back and pay another co pay for contact lenses exam. Ok. Fine. Well I can't afford another $50 co pay. Especially after dropping $230 1 pair of frames. Guess I'm not getting contacts. So I go back to pick up my new frames. She just hands them to me! She didn't fit me for them, ask how they felt. I said they are crooked. She walks across waiting area, where we are standing, and pushes a door open enough to squeeze thru. She appeared to climb over some boxes. And comes out a cpl min later and hands glasses back. Sorry Dr. Berger, but they are still tight and don't fit. This repeats 3 or 4 times until I finally say, its ok. Also I tell her that I can't see up close with them. She says that will get better in a week or so. It didn't. My $230 glasses break after 4 months. They never stayed on my face, since they were never fit properly, and I couldn't read with them on. I decided not to throw more money away and went to Americas Best Glasses. THEY KNOW EXACTLY WHO THIS DOCTOR IS! They also are not surprised by my experience because Im one of many this has happened to. Believe it or not, hearing this does not make me feel better. It is awful that this has happened to others. Glasses are expensive!! I paid $111 with tax and joined the Eye Club. I got another eye exam, as well as, eye exams for the next 3 years and my long awaited script for contacts. News flash: "Dr" Berger had my script wrong! And here's the kicker...Remember how she didn't have time to do the contact exam? What she did have time for was filing with my insurance company that she did the contact lenses exam!!! PLEASE: DO NOT GO TO THIS WOMEN. SHE WILL WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY AND RIP YOU OFF!! Unfortunately this story is 100% true Im sorry to say. I have been encouraged by new Eye Doctor to file a complaint. I've decided that I will.

Awful, awful experience. She constantly stopped to answer her phone and see why the door was opened. She complained continously about her selfish husband and children. My prescription wad to strong and she told me I would get used to it. She also complained about having to accept welfare cards because those people don't come to their appointments most of the time. And her office is a cluttered, unkept, dirty mess.

It's definitely not your average doctor visit but she was great. Very personable, friendly, made conversation, and she address my issue with immediate results. I have a follow up with her soon and looking forward to it!!

She's basically a hoarder.
