5 Years after my ICL surgery (basically implanted contact lenses) , My vision is amazing. This is by far the best investment I have ever made. My sight is good. For reference Before my surgery My corrective factor was -13 basically coke bottle glasses since I was 6. Now I do not wear glasses. The surgery was short and painless. There are a lot of pretests before surgery, Often appointment times take a while. However, Dr. Erdey was amazing.

Just had cataract surgery with Dr Erdey. I got the light adjustable implants. The surgery took 15 minutes for each eye, was painless and my recovery was quick and easy. They were able to adjust the lenses so that I can see pretty well up close and I also have good distance vision. I can do most everything I need to do without glasses which has been great. Before the surgery I was unable to follow the ball when I played golf. Now I can. If I need to do really detailed up close work I use readers but I generally don't need them. For example, can read the news on my phone, use my computer and can read menus without readers. And of course everyone I worked with in the office was super nice. All in all it has been a great experience and I am really glad I had it done.

About eight months ago, Dr. Erdey performed light-adjusting lens replacement cataract surgery. The office set my expectations by telling me not to expect this surgery to be a fountain of youth. They worked very carefully with me to ensure that we locked in exactly the vision I wanted (distance vs. near). I just had my final follow-up appointment, and despite the early warning, my vision is as good as, if not better than 30 years ago when Dr. Erdey did my Lasik surgery. I feel like this cataract surgery was truly the fountain of youth for my eyes. I would do this all over again based on the life-changing results. There was no one else I trusted with my eyes 30 years ago when Lasik was brand new, and no one else I trusted for this relatively new type of cataract surgery. These people are phenomenal. The staff was wonderful. I only had to wait 10 minutes. They give you a series of test. Then, write you a prescription, and you're out the door. To bad they don't take children under 18

It's been a little over a week since I had my last light adjustment treatment and I couldn't be more happier with the results. I'm only 55, so when I found out that I was going to have to have caterac surgery, I was very nervous. After going through all of the options with the amazing staff, I decided to go with LAL (light adjustment lense). Sure, it was a little expensive, but having the ability to get nearly 100% of both distance and close up was too tempting to pass up. I've been wearing glasses since I was 17 and when I turned 50 I started needing bifocals. So, getting to the point where I no longer need any glasses has been so exciting. Okay, technically I do have a pair of readers, but I only need to use them if there's really tiny print or bad lighting. Thankfully, that's not very much. As a matter of fact, I'm typing this review on my phone, and didn't need any glasses. I must also give a shout out and a huge thanks to the friendly staff, the wonderful Clinical Director, and more importantly, the skilled & talented Opthalmologist. From my cataract surgery to the last adjustment of the Light Ajustable Lens that was implanted, I experienced nothing but the best care. The staff were friendly and the doctors pleasant and knowledgeable, keeping me updated with how my eye was doing. Now I no longer need contacts or glasses for distance or close up; first time in many years!! Thank you Dr. Erdey and Dr. Jansen, you improved my life tremendously!

My mother just had surgery in both eyes. Her entire life she had issues seeing and she would wear contacts with two pairs of glasses and still had a hard time reading. Right before her surgery she could barely she her hand in front of her face. Dr. Erdey did a true miracle for my mother. Her words "A gift from God" she can now see 20/20 she is so thankful Everytime she wakes up that she can actually see things she never could in her entire life.
