My 87 year old mother was very frustrated with her low vision in her every day routine. She had trouble watching T.V., reading her prescription bottles with small print, and reading her mail. Dr. Rinkov was able to assist my mom in every area. My mother is a totally independent different person, she got her life back! I was very grateful for the kindness and time he spent with her!

Dr. Rinkov was very professional in his approach to my father and his needs due to his failing vision. He introduced dad to the latest low vision equipment, allowing him to try everything that would enable him to read the newspaper and his mail, watch TV, enhance facial recognition, and view things clearly from a distance. Rose was nervous when we showed up for our appointment but Dr. Rinkov was very kind and easy for her to talk with. He took an amazing amount of time with her and was very understanding of her situation. She did calm down and become accepting of the vision devices that he was offering and even though she wasn't willing to try in the beginning we left with an order for a new pair of glasses with the telescoping lenses. I would recommend ANYONE who is looking for help with low vision to visit Dr Mark Rinkov.

Quite a distance for us to travel, but Doctor Rinkov was very knowledgeable regarding what was available for someone with low or poor vision. It was worth the trip! When one option didn't work he introduced another option. My husband has been very satisfied with the digital magnifier we purchased. My Mom has Macular degeneration that impairs her vision for reading and watching TV. She was referred to Low Vision Doctors of Ohio. Dr Rinkov was extremely patient when evaluating Mom's vision and identifying devices that she could use to help. He was so respectful to Mom and understood not only her visual limitations but other impairments that are part of aging. We were able to see improvement in the office with a device to allow her to read the paper and books again. There were multiple types of glasses for watching TV and she was so excited be able to see facial expressions and read words on the TV.
We were provided with a general range of pricing for devices before the office visit. It was helpful knowing costs in advance. We never felt pressured to purchase any device.
Thanks to Dr Rinkov for his patience and compassion.

I had my first evaluation today for assistive devices. The schedule seems to be great as the parking was easy and the office was not crowded. Dr. Cursaro took his time during our one on one session and took time to understand my objectives and explained everything in easy to understand language. I feel better knowing what kind of devices or aides are available to help everyday life.
He even filled out all of necessary paperwork by my side so I wouldn't have to struggle writing and filling out intake forms! He's very kind and knowledgeable, I appreciated the experience.
