Walmart Vision & Glasses

My kids and I have been going to this eye center for the last 6+ years. We won't go anywhere else! The eye doctor is the best. Staff are always nice. Whenever I have any issues with our glasses, they are quick to fix it. Appointments are usually farther out now because of a couple factors. 1. Before there were 2 doctors and now there's only 1. 2. There's alot more customers because like I said the doctor there is amazing!

I go to this location because of Jessica. She is so friendly and knowledgeable. She always tells me about specials and just makes the experience fun. The entire staff at this location is very friendly. Very fast in and out time.

My only complaint was that the last time I called for an appointment for exams for me and two of my kids, they were over a month and a half out. They used to get us in quickly, but after covid, the wait times became longer. Other than that, the eye doctor we saw was great and the exams for all three of us took less than an hour. The staff that helped us pick out our glasses were really helpful. They were also patient with my kids, so I appreciated that! Definitely recommend!

I just wanted to write a review on my amazing experience here at the Georgesville Walmart Eye Center. I had called a different optometrist location before this one and they were really rude... This costumer service is seriously so great! All of these women are super polite, not only when answering the phones .. but with everything! My husband wanted to come with me and bring our almost two year old daughter with us, who has already had terrible two bursts... she was a sleepy mess! Haha! The women here kept reassuring me that it was okay and being super understanding. I've recommended this place to all my friends and family! Thanks again, ladies! Also, I've never wrote a review before but I just had to do this!

We had a bad experience here two days ago. My husband and I went in To have our glasses checked out because my screw keeps coming out and the coating is coming off the lenses and my husbands arms seem to be loose. The older lady "helped" us. She said that the screws come out all the time and could possibly put some clear nail polish on them and that was normal, her do it all the time. I told her I have never had that problem where they continually come loose. I felt like she was rushing and not really wanting to help. She did order me new lenses. She very rushingly "cleaned" my glasses while we were trying to tell her about my husbands issues with his glasses. She said the nose pieces were all the way down and that all the arms wiggle. My husband tried to tell her that they didn't use to and she said no all of them do it. While she finished cleaning my glasses she handed them to me and they were more smuged then when I walked in. The tone and rushing was just real rude and I felt she was very uninterested in what we had going on. To top it off my husband came across a glass fixing kit. Tightened his screw arms on both sides and whales, the arms don't wiggle any more! Now the only reason I gave it 3 stars is because the eye doctor is super nice and there is/was a lady by the name of Brittany that always helped us and she was the BEST. Brittany is the only reason we go to that particular Walmart.

Dr. Patel is the best! Extremely thorough. Just love her and the staff. Very personable, yet professional. Can't say enough good about this eye center

Very nice staff and not too long of a wait pre-virus. They accept Medicaid and most all insurance types. I've bought my glasses here 2x now and haven't had any issues.
