Walmart Vision & Glasses

Not very good. The last time I will visit it took 50 minutes to be seen past my appointment and I was 15 minutes early with all of the paperwork done in advance. The doctor recommended a contact brand I'd never tried and the test went well. Got my lenses and I've had nothing but problems with them. I ask if they can do anything to help me; I'm 2 weeks out of the 90 day support period and they told me to kick rocks. I'm not returning.

Great environment. Doctors were very professional and knowledgeable about all questions. Definitely would go back and recommend especially for first time contacts and glasses. Also the optician I think her name is Tina, was really helpful and nice!!!

Previously attended as a customer with no issues. But this time was "greeted" by a person clearly not enjoying their job when I arrived 10 minutes early. Completed 2 online forms and proceed to wait 20 minutes until they could do the hotair balloon test and the puff of air test. Back out then to wait for another 20 minutes. By the time I finally got in to see the new doctor we were over 40 minutes past my scheduled appointment. Then when he gets me in there he tells me there is a new additional fee for contact fittings and samples. I asked why that wouldn't be part of the contract lens exam that I schedule and he stated it was a new fee due to insurance companies view that as "cosmetic ". I explained that i've been wearing contacts for years and never been charged such a fee. Including at their store. He said that they implement the fee last year. When asked why I wouldn't have been informed about it when I scheduled the appointment or even when I arrived for the appointment he had no answer, and said if the cost was an issue today. I explained that the money isn't the issue.It's the hidden cost that i'm being hit with after already wasting forty five minutes in my time. I declined to continue the appointment and left.

Today was my first visit at this location. Dr. Mubarak is amazing. As someone who has always had very bad vision issues, I hate going to the eye doctor, but she was very nice and made it a comfortable experience. She really listens to how you feel and what your preferences are. I will definitely go back because of her.

Horrible unprofressional how we were treated today by Dr. Muhassad Aljumaili. We had an appointment at 5200 West pointe plaza 6:30pm for my child. I get there and we are told to sit while the lady finishes up with a customer. We go see the glasses in the meantime and can hear Muhassad Aljumaili speak loudly to the lady that he will not take his 6:30 appointment. He after comes to us and mentions he is no longer taking 6:30pm appointments and he will not see my daughter and 'we tried calling, but you had the wrong number on file' mind you I got a text and a email confirmation after all that he made me follow him to the computer and mentioned you are 5 min late anyways and I mentioned I was looking at glasses we was not late. This has been my GO TO location for my 2 girls and myself this was such a disappointment of how we was treated and im extremely upset that instead of throwing a tantrum and speak loudly to his colleague he should have came and apologized and rescheduled.

Our family has used Walmart vision center here in West Point Plaza for the last 2 years. My Kids love it, they are fast, the eye docs are fantastic. Shelby, Jennifer, Tina and all the ladies that work there are sweet hearts, and Also Bryce (sorry if I spelled your name wrong) they all go out of their way to make sure you are taken care of and have the best glasses/contacts for you. They even squeezed one of my kids in the day before an appointment! Not to mention our glasses came back within 2 days! Super Fast! I will always use them! We love Walmart Vision! UPDATE #2: This is the best vision center in the city, probably the state. The staff is second to none. Brice and Shelby were able to get me in super fast and Tina was outstanding when it came to ordering my contacts. They are so consistent, I won't go anywhere else. UPDATE: I just picked up my glasses and WOW!! I am BEYOND IMPRESSED!!! They look and fit absolutely perfect. They came in unbelievably fast. My expectations were exceeded in ever aspect of my encounter here. 10/10. Thank you for taking such great care of me! By far the best experience I've ever had buying contacts and glasses. The team is incredibly knowledgeable and very talented. They really know their stuff. They are incredibly thorough when it comes to ensuring your experience is exceptional. I also paid $300 less than I was expecting and I bought contacts, glasses, and sunglasses. Shelby is absolutely amazing and her passion for her work really shows. Great selection of designer frames and budget frames. Literally a one stop vision shop for everything you need. Dr. Averitt is an exceptional optometrist and has over 30 years of experience, what more could you ask for!?

I have been to many places to get an eye exam. I don't know what some of these other reviewers are talking about, but I can honestly say that I won't go anywhere else as long as this staff is still around. They were very friendly, and knowledgeable. They even took extra steps that my old optometrist (that I paid a ton of money for), didn't take. They are great.
