Dr. Dawson is a great opthalmologist. She helped my son work through several eye issues with much patience and skill. I can't say enough positive things about her and the whole staff at the Opthalmology Department at Dayton Children's Hospital.

I would not go here or take your children here. I went here two years ago and I was told they billed my insurance and they approved me for my eye exams and contacts when I told them I wasn't going to pay over $200 for contacts but only the exam. They lied. After that appointment several months later they charged the insurance that I no longer had. Obviously they didn't get paid as the insurance was no longer active. On top of that you can't get ahold of no one, and leave a voicemail for this place and billing so it was completely useless. Thanks to this "amazing" office my debt almost got put through collections as they even sent it to the WRONG address and NEVER called me to verify or ask if it was known. Dr.Bloom was much better. This place is a joke.

Dr.Dawson is AMAZING. She goes above and beyond for my kids everytime. My son loves her and he's normally such a shy child but she always gets the best responses from him and always helps get us on the right track. I appreciate her more than she knows and trust her with their vision 100%
