Dayton Eye Associates

Not very happy with last visit. My appt was for new contact fitting. The assistant knew absolutely nothing about contacts so I couldn't ask her any questions. I saw Dr Lecurgo, very nice but clearly distracted. Prob bc he was running behind. Looked at his watch during our visit and I felt very rushed.

Went there for treatment, and there were 20 people waiting ahead of me. We discovered that appts were 5 mins apart. Not the Dr's fault. I waited 2 hrs to get in. Everyone was upset with the place doing this to patients.

My 85 yr old mother had been going here for years. Her visit in June 2023 after 2 different eye drops were put in her eyes, left her eyes very irritated, swollen and very blurry vision.She went back that following Monday and they had no answer about what was going on but gave her drops plus they charged her for the visit and after a 3rd visit with no answers but yet another charge she decided to see another Doctor. This doctor told her it was some king of infection and gave her more drops which have not helped. She's seen the new doctor 2 times and he said her eyes may never go back to the way they were. One of her eyes is still almost closed and her vision is worse than she's ever had to live with. For God sakes she's an 85 yr old woman who loved to read but is having great difficulty. My son and I definitely won't be going back there. Just not will to take that chance.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. They are scammers! They did not let me know they were not in network with my insurance. So not only did they lie, but they did not collect a co-pay because they said it was covered by my insurance. They proceeded to ask me for $60 for a PIECE OF PAPER with MY prescription on it. This place is very unorganized and it was a waste of my time. I do not recommended this place AT ALL! Absolutely horrible. It is a joke.

I've been coming here for a long time and I have always enjoyed the staff and the location but their scheduling does not make sense, everytime I come here I wait for at least one hour before getting seen so if you have an appointment make sure your phones is charged and let work know it's going to be around 3 hours of your day for the appointment.

Waited over an hour for my appointment after waiting 2 months to get in.

My mother & sister also go to these eye docs because they are the best in Dayton.
