Dr Hamilton provided an outstanding eye exam for my squirmy first grader at a surprisingly good price! She took the extra time to discuss with me what she was measuring and how it related to our concerns. At the end, this was the best part, she gave us exercises and advice based on research to optimize my kids eye development instead of just slapping glasses on him. Outstanding professionalism!

Dr. Hamilton did an amazing job with my seven year old son. She performs a very thorough, detailed eye exam and also offers additional testing for anyone who thinks they need it. The optician/receptionist is very sweet and will help you with whatever questions you have. They have a HUGE selection of frames at competitive prices. If you have a child with any vision problems, I would highly recommend taking them to see Dr. Hamilton!

Have been coming here for years and Dr. Hamilton does the best. She gives thorough eye exams and does whatever she can to make you comfortable. Susan the optician is wonderful too. They make a great team and I am so happy to have found them.

I am incredibly disappointed by our experience today. I have a son with special needs, so I asked fellow moms for optometrists in the area that work with children who might need a different type of exam. This practice came highly recommended, and I was willing to pay the $165 out of pocket to see them as they were out of network with our insurance. I was very clear on the phone that my son is VERY energetic, and struggles to sit and attend. I have been turned away before for his needs, and I've learned to be very clear about his needs so medical staff know what to expect and to provide them the opportunity to turn him away if they can't meet his needs. We waited 40 minutes for our appointment and she looked at him for less than 2 minutes before saying we should go to Cincinnati Children's because (paraphrasing here, she said something to the effect of) "they can work with kids like him." While I understand and appreciate that she realized his needs were out of her scope, it was incredibly disappointing that she tried less than 2 minutes to work with him. She also shouted at him when he went to touch the blinds in the room. I understand my son is high energy and a curious toddler, but never have I experienced medical staff raising their voice to my child. He is TWO. He sees numerous specialists at Cinci Children's and often requires alternative approaches to exams that meet his needs- nobody has EVER raised their voice to him. I am incredibly disappointed by her treatment of my son. The only positive is that they didn't charge us for the "appointment" we had today.
