Great surgeon. I had Cataract surgery on both eyes, 3 weeks apart. His staff is great and very thorough in explaining everything. Dr. Schuman is a great surgeon and he also is very kind and caring. Highly recommend!

Dr Schumann is the top dog when it comes to eye procedures and difficult diagnosis. He is an ophthalmologist speacialist. Last year at age 52 I suddenly had the feeling of shattered glass in my eye. Very painful! The pain was consistent and intense. Several eye Drs were perplexed but couldn't help me. I finally called on John Wilding in Sidney and he started the ball rolling. I was sent to consult in Cincy and CBus. Even Ohio State Wexner was unsure. Finally I was sent to Dr Mehan and Dr Schumann. These surgeons were relentless in their pursuit of my recovery. I saw them every day in Dayton for several weeks. After several procedures and surgeries I found sweet relief. At 52 I have cataracts in both eyes. Glaucoma and a few other things. Dr Schumann called to check in on me on weekends and evenings. He would Facetime with Drs and let me participate. I have never met a more talented Dr and he's easy on the eyes and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend Stephen Schumann , if you want the best , start right here!

A couple of years ago, I was diagnosed with glaucoma and was losing my vision. My eye doctor sent me to Dr. SCHUMAN a glaucoma specialist.. He did surgery on my right eye and in the last 6 weeks work on my left eye. I just want to say how awesome he is... Appts on Saturday, Sunday, via phone when he was out ill, and today the building was shut down due to AC leak and damage....he still had me come in to ensure my vision is good. GOD IS #1 AND PROVIDES THIS DR. TO GIVE ME OUTSTANDING CARE.
THANK YOU TO DR. SCHUMANN AND HIS WONDERFUL STAFF FOR THE ABOVE AND BEYOND CARE.
