The visit with the doctor himself was adequate. He did the testing and gave me the assessment of my sight. My experience in checking in was pleasant. My experience with a everyone but one was good except a medical assistant who was unpleasant. She spoke to me in a very disrespectful way. I've been coming there since last spring, and I've always been treated with respect until this visit. I mentioned it to the doctor he had no comment. I don't need to be upset when I go see my eye doctor unless it is about my eyes.

Dr Hasan seems a very good doctor with excellent bedside manners. I trust his judgement. His assistants are great, too. I was quickly attended to in spite of Dr Hasan having to squeeze me in. I only wish that I had been informed about dilation prior to the appointment.

My mom has glaucoma and the individual who checked her out scheduled her next appt with a physician who was not capable of handling her medical needs with unstable pressures. I addressed that with the person scheduling her with the first Dr she tried to schedule her with. Then she scheduled with another optometrist who was not capable of handling my mom. Dr Hassan's notes said to scheduled with ophthalmologist if he was not available. She apparently did not care or was untrained. Natasha and Carrie were amazing about fixing this situation. However there should not have been a situation to fix.

Dr. Hasan attended high school in Youngstown, Ohio before moving to Chicago for his undergraduate and medical school education. He did his residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, one of the busiest and largest teaching hospital systems in the U.S. After completing his Ophthalmology residency, he completed his Glaucoma fellowship at the prestigious Washington University and Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Hasan performs laser and incisional surgeries that include trabeculectomies, glaucoma tube shunts, combined glaucoma/cataract surgeries, and minimally-invasive glaucoma surgeries. He also performs cataract surgeries in patients with and without glaucoma.
