After my latest diagnosis Dr Scheonberger said I now have wet macular degeneration which meant I now need shots in my right eye ! in order to have better vision since we caught it early Dr said he wanted to start today! I trust the doctor to keep my vision as it is today, so I received the first shot ! I was hoping not to do the shot because it sounded scary but guess what ! It was not scary at all no pain ! I am glad to keep my vision as well as today!!!!!

My surgery went great! The doctors and the entire staff at the eye surgery center do everything they can to make you calm and comfortable before surgery! They treat you like a friend and not just like another number! They truly care about their patients and i believe you couldn't be in a better place for eye surgeries than their facility! About Scott Schoenberger, MD

Dr. Schoenberger, a Columbus native, earned his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati, where he was named to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. He completed his ophthalmologist residency at the University of Cincinnati and completed a vitreo-retinal fellowship at Vanderbilt University where he received the J. Donald Gass, M.D., Endowed Fellowship. Dr. Schoenberger has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles in ophthalmic and medical journals, including the New England Journal of Medicine. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Retina Specialists. Dr. Schoenberger is married to Dr. Arshia Ali, an internist who practices medicine in Cincinnati.
