The staff and doctors were very professional and knowledgeable. They answered all my questions And we're very helpful in getting the exact prescription I needed. I would highly recommend

I was traveling up North and realized I had forgotten my contacts at home. I called Target Optical (my go-to optometrist, but at a different location), and Tess kindly helped me with a trial set so I could continue my travels without worry. She was so helpful, thoughtful, and kind--thank you, Tess!

Huge thanks to the staff at the Target optical center (Dayton mall location.) They helped me out of a very stressful situation during a medical emergency when I was visiting out of state. I'm so grateful for their quick response and willingness to help! I highly recommend them for their friendly & professional service!

Be aware that they will charge you for services without informing you beforehand and/or explaining the service. If you decide to go here, ask what they will charge before they do ANYTHING because they will not inform you of the cost until the end when you receive your bill. Further, they create their own definitions for services, which I also did not figure out until after I received my bill. *** Do yourself a favor and find a different place to receive vision care ***

I came in 10 minutes before close (which I hate to do, just got off work) and she was so nice and welcoming and helpful. And my new glasses are super cute!

My daughter had her annual eye exam March 23rd. Her prescription did change a little bit and 2 different pair of trial contacts were ordered. It is now April 10th, still no prescription and still no trial contacts. I called today and the next available appointment is Saturday April 20th. It was explained that my daughter was on her last pair of contacts at the initial visit. I asked for the prescription to be released and I would order contacts elsewhere and was told by Misty that "it's state law that the doctor has to see how the contacts fit before the prescription will be active." Misty also told me they close at 5:30 with it being 5:27 when I was speaking to her. She wasn't able to have the manager (Ellie Proctor) speak to me until she could call me but of course didn't know when she would be calling. And then before I hanging up, someone in the background told Misty to hang up on me, that "she didn't need to be abused and yelled at." This is laughable because never did I raise my voice or "abuse" in anyway. My daughter has worn both type of contacts prior to now and her prescription didn't change in any substantial way. This situation is beyond crazy and I'll never do business here again. The frustration this office has caused is one thing, the holding of the prescription hostage and the dishonesty is so unprofessional . Not sure what the solution will be but I'll be contacting someone higher than the Office Manager tomorrow.

Very impressed with Target Optical, my Optician i visited for over 20 years is about to retire, and his hours became less available, plus his front desk wasnt very friendly or helpful. So, I thought I would give Target a try. I like their flexibility, hours and I got in the same week. Eric Fox O.D. was thorough, answered my questions. Great experience with assistance as well.

Have always had excellent experience at Target Optical at Dayton Mall, Miamisburg location. Dr Kurzer does thorough exam. And the opticians provide prompt and professional service while assisting with and fitting glasses. Couldn't be happier!
