America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

Meagan (Brimfield/Kent location) was great to work with and has helped us order our glasses on a couple of occasions. She was patient while three of us chose glasses and sunglasses. She was very knowledgeable about what I needed to optimize my lenses and can't wait until they all come in.

From the moment I walked in I was greeted with a friendly attitude. Checking in I had the mistake of making the appointment on a wrong online ordering account. The wonderful lady knew my mistake well before the appointment and corrected my mistake quickly. Megan checked me out and gave great suggestions on the eyeglasses I had picked out. I can't be more pleased with the service I get here and will keep on coming back for my eyeglass needs.

-10 (negative Ten) Star Review - Completely Unprofessional and Disrespectful of Customers' Time America's Best in Kent, Ohio has shown an unacceptable level of unprofessionalism. My wife scheduled three lens class appointments, and every single one was mishandled. Each time, we arrived on time--after driving 45 minutes each way--only to be told that the person responsible "wasn't available" or "didn't come to work." Not once did they bother to call us beforehand to cancel or reschedule. This is not just inconvenient--it is irresponsible and disrespectful. They repeatedly wasted our time and acted as though our schedules didn't matter. We arranged our appointments according to their availability, yet they failed to have the necessary staff present on three separate occasions. When I informed them that this had happened multiple times, there was no real concern, no accountability, and no effort to make it right. The level of disregard for customers here is shocking. This location needs serious management intervention. I do not recommend trusting this clinic with your time or your business. They think they own our time.

Called because I'm in the vision club (free contacts+glasses exam and free pair of contacts 2/year for 3 years for $130. Unbeatable value) and I'm on my last pair of contacts and the right lens is blurry and going bad. I just needed to know if I had to wait a couple weeks until the 6 month mark from my last free exam until the next one "unlocks" or if I can just get the free exam now to get the free pair of lenses so I can read traffic signs and not die in a car crash because of this lens... (I'm legally blind without them) They just kept putting me on hold and not coming back. Couldn't just answer the question. I called 4 times over an hour and then finally just drove to the store out of sheer frustration... They tried to scam me $110 for a whole box of contacts for each eye instead of just being honest about it... They kept saying they're "helping me out" but those contacts likely won't be the right prescription when I get my prescription updated anyways (the last Rx was 5 months ago and my eyes typically change a little each time)... They didn't *lie* about anything. They just said half-truth after half-truth and were steering me straight towards wasting lots of money *right now* instead of coming back tomorrow and spending literally *NOTHING* to solve my problem that way. So don't trust them. They're just like a used car salesman trying to steer you towards wasting your money to benefit their personal paycheck. I bet that person gets off on inconveniencing other people and watching them squirm. Creepy. She seemed really pleased when I flat out explained why her $110 solution to my problem wasn't the best one, but moreso that I realized how she was bullying me and couldn't really do anything about it. Like what's her boss gonna say? "Sorry we're fascist?"

Ashlin fixed my frames for me no questions asked! During my visit the entire staff made me feel comfortable. Their banter, relaxed atmosphere and community convinced me this is the place where I will ALWAYS get my eye care needs taken care of. Thank you, Ashlin! :)

Ive had the best experience today at the America's Best in Brimfield. I walked in needing new contacts and glasses and my schedule was very busy. They were able to help me right away. The staff was super friendly. I will definitely be coming back and recommending others to come as well.

Ashlin fixed all thee pairs of my glasses so well and was very sweet about it! Great front desk service as well. I was welcomed warmly. Highly recommend for the free adjustments and minor repairs

First person who did my test on my eyes for color blindness taking video and what not was nice. But when I got into the exam room and having a video chat with an eye doctor she was rude. Short had an attitude because she's rambling and I have to ask her. What did you say? Then I go and sit down where they try to pressure you to buy glasses from them. They priced out a basic pair for me when I said I'm good and hold off. She instantly got an attitude and was rude and basically pushed me out the door. I highly recommend going to Walmart or Target because I've been to both those places in my lifetime and neither places have ever treated me with such rude shortness. I guarantee this place is going to be shut down unless than a year.
