My daughter was an above reader starting out in school. In second grade she had become an average reader and by third grade we were pulling our hair out. I was stressed and she was stressed. We struggled with homework, her grades dropped and at one point I wasn't sure we would pass third grade. February came and I went and had her eyes tested. Her eye doctor noticed her right eye not staying where it should and referred us. Dr. Raber then did some testing on her. She was diagnosed with convergence insufficiency and accomodative disorder. We the were set up to come weekly for 24 weeks to work with her with Christy.Then after each session we were sent home two five minute10 minute excercises to do a week.The doctor and therapist were amazing!! She has now graduated. Her eyes have improved! Her grades have improved. She has less headaches and she has even noticed the difference with not struggling anymore. Vision therapy helped her tremendously.
