Precision Eye Care

I absolutely love Dr. Schultz - very funny, nice and kind. The woman who helped me pick out frames and did my before tests was amazing! The problem is with the person doing the insurance. If you have VSP and want lenses that go dark in the sun and back to normal inside - go onto the VSP website and see if you have easyoptions on your plan. I did so I went to Eyeconic and ordered the exact same pair of glasses - frames, lenses, etc. - for only $35 instead of the $130 Precision Eye Care wanted. They only do Transition lenses which is a "modification" to the lenses and costs $75. I got SunSync lenses which are the exact same thing as the Transition lenses and were free for my easyoption choice through VSP. I paid my $35 co-pay for the frames instead of a co-pay for not only the frames but the lenses that Precision Eye Care wanted. End of the day, go here for the eye exam and prescription but do not get your glasses here!

Dr. Schultz is top-notch!! I was a new patient in 2019, and he swiftly diagnosed my early onset cataracts and arranged for surgery with a specialist within DAYS - one needed done immediately, and the other 6 months later. He is very transparent, capable and extremely knowledgeable. I have had three additional eye surgeries with a specialist since then, but my vision has now stabilized after two years and I am grateful to be able to see again with Dr. Schultz help!! Dr Schultz and his staff are the best! Efficient and caring practice. They explain everything thoroughly and have an awesome selection of glasses to choose from.

I live in Columbus and it takes me about 40 minutes to get to this place. I drive all the way there just for them to tell me that they don't accept my son's insurance anymore without even notifying me before hand. So then they tried to make me pay over two hundred dollars out of pocket for an eye exam. So I told my son "looks like we're gonna have to find you another eye doctor buddy". Carolyn's supervisor chimed in and said "well since he has two years left on his prescription we can get him a replacement pair with no additional cost". So I was like well let's go ahead and do that then because he needs glasses. They supposedly ordered them and they told me that they would give me a call once they came in. So I patiently waited for 36 days until I decided to give them a call today because the communication is awful. After all this time they didn't even order his glasses to begin with! Then proceeded to say that I'm going to have to find another place that accepts his anthem insurance. I questioned Carolyn about my previous visit 36 days ago and I said well the lady told me I had another year left on his prescription and then she said to me "well she was mistaken I'm sorry". Help me understand how you can do this to someone and their child and sleep good at night?

I had to be seen her for an eye emergency while on an out of town trip from Columbus. I was in excruciating pain and showed up an hour early the doctor saw me right away and began helping me solve a reoccurrence of an issue I have been dealing with for years. I was in and out in 20 minutes with a prescription temporary solution and a promise of being seen today if I was still around. I very much appreciate the kindness the doctor showed me and addressing my problem immediately as I knew Urgent Care or ER would not have been able to help me.

Dr. Eric Liggett was friendly and professional ! I really appreciate the low-key office atmosphere versus the pressure and traffic of going to LensCrafters !!!!

He is a wonderful man . He is very respectful and go's above and beyond expectations. So after going to him .I had scheduled a appointment for my 6 year old . He was so nervous. It was his first time ever seeing a optometrist. The staff thier got him laughing and made him feel comfortable. I will definitely refer him to family and friends. Thank you so much for making his first experience a great success.

Dr. Schultz is the best ophthalmologist I have ever had! The care and professionalism does not go unnoticed and each staff member is so kind and friendly!
