I went here in November by recommendation of a friend. I liked the Dr. She was pretty, knowledgable, quick, and lovely. I remember the office ladies were a lil unprofesh, quietly dropping curse words, spilling tea, on cell phones. I imagine older folks mind that. I don't expect super professional customer service anywhere, personally. You can't even get it buying a new car. The office lady was helpful when I called to ask questions today. I'm gonna be getting my glasses here this month. The frame selection was actually the best part and why I'm coming back in. Glasses are part of the every day aesthetic and I didn't like the basic selection of frames at Walmart or Clarkson. Plus coming to Louisville means stopping at the hibachi spot so I'm happy
I would like to start by saying that I absolutely love Dr. Blevins. She is amazing with my children. However, her office staff are so incredibly rude that my family and I will take our business elsewhere. I was treated as though I was ignorant and could not understand the office policy regarding contacts. When, in fact, it was the inadequacy of the office lady that prevented her from serving her Doctor's patient. Then, as I told her she was being very rude to me, she stated that Dr. Blevins backs her office staff. I would hope she would not back her staff (that we patients supply wages for) speaking rudely and not providing the customer service that we deserve. I left their angry and still with a very sore eye.
My family visited Dr Blevins 2 years ago for our usual exam. Loved every aspect of our visit. This year was different. I took my two kids to their exam and noticed the front staff wasn't very friendly. Now I'm not expecting staff to be overly friendly and annoying but the staff seemed bothered I was there. No hello, how are you?, just a plain monotone "can I help you?", no smile either. While checking in there was no conversation or anything just awkward silence. Dr Blevins did a GREATA job with my kids exams. While checking out a different lady had the same bothered, annoyed attitude. I had to schedule my wife and I's exams and that just made it worse. She looked miserable, actually all three office staff seemed miserable. Some school kids walked in to ask questions about support for a school dance and talk about a strange interaction, staff was just unfriendly. The Dr is great, staff isn't necessarily rude but very unfriendly and could do with some customer service classes. I'm not sure I'll keep my apt. I'll likely look elsewhere especially when it's going to be over a month before I can get an appt.
Me and my kids have been coming here for years. Dr. Blevins is always friendly. The staff was very helpful in assisting with anything we need.
I have been a patient of Dr. Blevins for 3-4 years. The last year the place has been terrible. The staff is completely incompetent and rude. The place used to be nice and family oriented, not anymore. The staff has repeatedly ordered the wrong brand and prescription of my contacts. When politely told that they have made mistake the staff gets very disrespectful with you. The staff has no customer service skills. The staff refuses to let you speak to the Doctor. The staff stated, "The Doctor DOESN'T speak to patients". So you end up dealing with unreasonable, uneducated, incompetent staff. I would not recommend this office anymore. As a previous reviewer wrote, "Warning!!! I would give them no stars if I could."
If you chose to be a patient here, be prepared to be disrespected by the front desk staff.
Typically see Dr. Blevins and she has never let me down. Great place to go and awesome vision services. She always does right by her patients and takes all the time needed to ensure questions are answered. Today I was seen by her son, another Dr. Blevins. His practice, care, and medical knowledge are as great as his mom's. It's awesome to see how the field has been transfered throughout their family. I will continue to go to this practice for as long as they are there. Great doctors, staff, service all around. Recommend to anyone I need of a reliable, knowledgeable, and kind vision center.
Been coming here for years & I absolutely love the staff & Dr. Blevins!
However, I have a complaint to make: there is a new staff, a younger girl that works the front desk that will not greet you at all, and gives you a nasty look for no reason. As an individual with multiple years of customer service I always greet customers regardless. I honestly do not appreciate this girl's attitude and I highly recommend someone speak with her because there's no reason for anyone working customer service to be acting that way, especially in any kind of doctor's office, & I would absolutely hate for this facility to receive complaints like this, so I thought I'd speak up!
Thanks
I love Dr. Blevins. She's a very nice lady and her staff is very Pleasant. only thing I have negative is I wish they could get a better selection and glasses, but Dr. Blevins and staff is very very friendly. Thank you.
