Center Street Vision

Absolutely horrible experience been waiting three months for the glasses I ordered. They told me my glasses will be there in two weeks, about 3-4 weeks and I called to check on them. And they were not done and not in the office so they had to reach out to the lab. A few weeks later I get a call saying my glasses are in. I go in to get my glasses I go to try them on. , Trish was tell ing me how good I looked at them. I told her they were blurred in the one corner and she said it was a scratch and she order a different len and she put them in the bag and has me sign. When I get home I pull them out and looked in the mirror , there was actually a little hole down in the corner with the len, where it didn't fit right and the one len and side of that frame was noticeably smaller. Took them right back up to her and told her I didn't appreciate her lying to me that it was more than just a scratch. So she took the glasses back with an attitude to hold onto them. I get a call last week that my glasses are in after waiting almost 3 weeks I go to pick them up and that lens it's still smaller on the other side. I noticed them as soon as Trish held them up and then she had to take out the tape measure because she acted like I was lying about it to confirm it. She has an attitude every time I have been there. Like its my fault. So I asked her why they didn't notice it when they were replacing my len, and she told me that Kim was the one to check them in. Funny because she told me they weren't getting sent out that they were going to replace the len in house . She told me I would have to wait to Monday so then her manager would be in. She would talk to him then. Needless to say Im still with out glasses.

I've been using center street vision for about 3 years now. Love the atmosphere and the staff! Appointments are always quick and efficient. One of the girls has picked out my last two frames for me when I was indecisive and Ive loved both frames.

This was a poor experience from start to finish. The lady up front is abrasive and not very helpful. She should not be the first person you encounter (at any business). I had to fill out a BUNCH of very unnecessary and redundant paperwork. I understand the Dr. will want a thorough snapshot of any ongoing issues but most of the paperwork seemed to revolve a medical examination vs. an eye examination. What irked me was that most of the paperwork used a size 8 font (at an optometrist!) and I honestly couldn't read a lot of it. The exam itself went pretty well. They have newer equipment ad they seemed to know how to use it. I then chose my frames and lenses keeping in mind my insurance benefit allowance which they looked up for me. I then paid my $80 and was told it may take up to 2 weeks which I thought was a very long time, but I was willing to wait. They called me and I picked them up. They weren't quite right, but they wouldn't really do anything and kept saying "just give it time" etc. I left and knew I'd never come back. They worst part about all of this was about 8 weeks later I get a bill for $180. I called and stated I already paid at the time of my exam after they ran my vision insurance and this must be a mistake. Billing then informed me they ran this through my MEDICAL INSURANCE???!!! I stated, "No at the time of the exam they ran it through my vision insurance and you told me what I had to pay then and there which i already did". Billing then stated they would resubmit the charge through my vision insurance. I questioned that because I knew they only had so many days to submit a charge to the insurance company. Of course no one called me back from Center Street Vision like they promised when the eye insurance denied the claim. They have continued to try and bill me. I have repeatedly called them and explained this was THEIR mistake and they need to own it. Why would a business run my eye insurance benefit, tell me the limits of what they cover etc., have me pay the difference, and then without telling me a thing, decide to bill me medical insurance instead and then try to bill me even more? I real life, when we make mistakes, we fix it as best we can and learn from them. Center Street Vision made a mistake, tried to cover it up, then have me pay for their mistake, and now will not respond to my voicemails. I would caution anyone thinking of using them to maybe give them a pass. From the poor customer service to their completely incompetent billing department I know I won't ever be back and also give everyone else fair warning.

Center street vision is the front of the building. Center street pharmacy is the back of the building. We are doing some remodeling work to the pharmacy.

Honestly customer care is not the first priority at this place can never get through to them on the phone and have been waiting for my glasses for over a month and a half 0/10 would not Recommend

They really close at 4pm. That gives no time to get there for us who work till then
