The front desk person is ok. I didn't like Shannon Defazio. She's very bad service. I called her leaved messaged for her to called me back . I waited her called me. She's didn't call me until two weeks later. She's called me on Sunday. I don't think the office work on Sunday. When i looked my phone missed called on Sunday then I called her back the same day she called me.. I leaved messaged for her to called me. She's didn't call me back. She's not deserve for the title surgical coordinator work for Dr. Edward Meier M.D. I think Dr. Edward Meier need place her.

The services rendered were fine (in fact, I love my optometrist--Dr. Donahue), but the waiting time leaves much to be desired. Expect to wait 30-60 min even for something as routine as an annual eye exam.

Everyone says how wonderful the provider is but it seems to be IMPOSSIBLE to come here and not have to be here for MORE than 3 hours for an appointment to be completed. Makes it really difficult to want to remain a patient here.

Visit for measurement for cataract surgery; measurements completed; and waited 1 hour and 35 minutes; went to desk and asked when I would be called back; person at desk reported there were still 3 people ahead of me; I explained that I would wait another five minutes; 5 minutes I went and ask to reschedule my appoint to see the physician, I was told I could reschedule; however; I would more than likely wait the same amount of time. Explained I was considering cancelling the surgery, and the person went in the back and returned and took me to a room; the physician may have with me for 5 minutes; I did receive a paper about the surgery, the physician did not provide and risk or information about the surgery. I left and when I got home the office called and asked if I was in the office; told the person, that I was home, she explained, I did not sign the permission papers; told the person I was sitting in the waiting room for over an hour I could have signed the papers at that time; I decided to cancel the surgery as this appeared to be a assembly line. I did receive a survey email and gave a low rating and an email was returned stating sorry for my experience and someone would call to discuss. I did not receive any return call.

I was really anxious about my visit; I am terrified of "something" getting in my eye(s). Therefore, I have never had my eyes examined. Ashley, the technician that did the preliminary testing was an absolute doll; she was so friendly and explained everything she was going to do prior. She had me so relaxed. The next technician not so friendly; she did briefly mention what she was going to do, but was not very personable, at all. The doctor was friendly, but direct. She did try to alleviate my anxiety after telling me I had cataracts and would need surgery. Not one person advised or asked me if I had sunglasses to wear or even inquired if I was able to drive. Fortunately, I had read the information sent to me and I brought sunglasses with me. However, my vision was very blurry driving home. Fortunately, I live very close to the office.

I called the morning of the appointment to see if I can go earlier. The office said YES. I waited over 90 minutes. I made appointment last year, After 75 reminders in the exam roon they told me that I can't get an eye exam without paying $60. I have same insurance and better benefits. My wife had her eye exam in April 2024. She paid the copay $20. The staff/tech insisted on me paying for the glasses prescription. I refused, Dr. Meier & his staff were talking to me about medicaid/Medicare which I don't have. Why they are talking about medicaid/Medicare?They want to collect extra $60 . They are NOT entitled to. I talked to their billing department very nice lead biller Tricia (Spl). She was surprised. Unprofessional and waste of time. As a patient my responsibility is to pay $20. This is according to their billing department and my insurance. I hope this is not upcoding practice. I noticed other patients reviews have the same nonsense. Dr. Ed Meier is very professional. He had very successful business before bought by the big shark Be careful

I love Dr. Bisig. She is so calm, professional and kind. She explains things in a way that is clear and easy to understand. I also greatly appreciate their scheduling and timeliness. I feel as though my time is as valued as the doctor's. I'm never kept waiting more than 5 minutes before I'm evaluated.

Dr Chaudhry was a great Doctor the front staff was polite the young lady whom dilated my eyes was friendly and the gentleman that took pictures of my eyes was really nice. Dr.Chaudhry his assistant (Harley) was horribly rude. I asked her was she okay she was like yea!!! Then I asked her name she refused to give it to me my husband had to speak with the doctor about how rude she was. It sucks before one bad apple will spoil the bunch. I spoke to the interim office manager and told her about the issue. Maybe other Doctor assistance are better suit for their job.
