I am so lucky to have such a caring concerned Dr. as Dr. Riccio. She has gone above and beyond . Thank you for everything.

I have been going to Dr. Karen Riccio for several years and she is absolutely the best!!! Just go to her and you'll quickly see! I have all of my ex's family and my family going to her and they ALL love her just as much as I do! I will never go to anyone else! She goes above and beyond with every patient, takes her time with you, and even calls to check on you AND even gives her cell number to reach her when you are having issues-NO ONE does this anymore! She's absolutely the BEST!

The staff goes above and beyond and Dr Riccio is amazing. She works with my entire family (ages 3 thru 15. Hubby and myself) and always explains things very well. Great eye glasses selection as well with some fun glasses. Highly highly recommend.

The are capable of carrying out the tasks at hand. However, I was very sketched out by the way they conduct business. 3 family members recently switched to this place and had no history of eye problems (outside of needing glasses). The 3 of us have our appts and all of the sudden, we all have problems with our eyes and before you know it, the Dr. refers us to another doctor at another location and even sets up appointments for us. It all happened so quickly. This routine was very sketchy. The ease and smoothness that the Dr. just oh so kindly referred us to another doctor and set up an appointment for us (scheduled already, I had to then call to cancel) , it was like clock work and rubbed me the wrong way. Almost like this place had a back room deal with other offices to refer patients to each other and they've done this countless times - that's the perception I got. I've never had this experience elsewhere. I just can't bring myself to trust them.

The staff was great and helpful when there was a problem at the lab, which delayed my glasses. I love the selection of frames. Doctor Riccio is knowledgeable and friendly. All in all, wonderful experience and will be back.

I never used them and I never will. I had cataract surgery and needed one, to investigate a new optician and two, a tech to just take out one lense and snap in a "fake" one that I have. 5 minutes work. In turn, I need at least 3 new pairs of glasses. A good business trade, and common courtesy would be the norm, but that is not them. Do you ever special order frames "No, what we have is what we have". Can you do a rush on glasses, as I have none?" "No, it is four weeks, that's it". Can you take out the lens? "It is your responsiblity if it breaks". "Can you measure my frames and make sure I am looking at the correct choices? "No, just look around". Never got up from her chair. Ok, you just lost 3K this year and more later. And their selection of frames is awful. How they stay in business is a miracle as they do not deserve it.

Dr Riccio is a caring, knowledgeable professional. I trust her judgment. Have been going to Eye Designs for a long time and always receive excellent care. Her staff have always been polite and helpful.

I was leaving for Chicago April 27th and reached out to them April 21st. They were able to get me an appointment that day. I now understand why. Going into the office I noticed every frame was overpriced. The girl working didn't even tell me to fill out the form that was left on the counter. I figured that out. She was at least pleasant while being so incompetent. Exam was fine. When ordering my contacts I actually had to tell them my size. Optometrist said check your boxes at home before opening the new ones because we can't take them back once opened. After paying I was told they wouldn't be in until April 27th. The WHOLE point was to have a backup pair of contacts for Chicago. They did provide me with a different brand for the trip. Today is May 12th and I had to call them to find out where my contacts were. I assumed they would be shipping to my home. Nope. Apparently my order "slipped through the cracks" and they might be in at the end of this week. I recommend never going to this location. The staff is completely incompetent and lacks the basic skills needed to run this office. Horrible customer service and God forbid something goes wrong. You'd be the last to know.
