I am beyond happy with the springmill road store in Ontario Ohio. Kelley Mitchell is wonderful. She helped me find a couple pairs of glasses for a great deal. I had limited funds but i still got 2 pairs. She matched the online price of their website which was great because i didnt have to deal with any hassles that might occur with online purchasing. In the past iv went to other places but they get pushy about upgrading lenses or frames. I have not had that issues with ontarios americas best. Ive gotten glasses here for the past couple years because of price and because the entire staff is so helpful and nice. I highly recommend them
First I must say that I don't give five stars unless the service and product are both great. That said, America's Best is one that is deserving of a five star review. From the initial appointment everything went great. My scheduled exam appointment was on time and thorough. Both the optometrist and the staff were very friendly and more importantly, knowledgeable of the product. The glasses are high quality and the prescription is perfect! I definitely recommend America's Best in Ontario, Ohio for eyeglasses.
Went in to order my glasses and my mamas too. The GM was amazing! I had to bring my kids, age 3 and 5 months and Kelley was absolutely terrific. She not only did her job quickly and efficiently, she helped keep my toddler busy and played with her a little too! First time my toddler liked a stranger! Will always come back here for any of my glasses in the future!
I don't ever leave reviews for places but this place definitely deserves five stars. After many mishaps with my insurance they still got me in and made sure I was taken care of. The staff is the absolute best and sweetest people, I could not be more thankful. Would definitely recommend them!!

I recently visited America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses for eye exams and new glasses for myself and a family member, and while the exam itself was fine, the overall experience left me deeply disappointed and regretting my decision to patronize this business.
We had a late-day appointment, and after the exams, we were directed to select frames. My family member tried on several options and settled on two pairs. When it came time to pay, I explained that I would be covering both our purchases on the same credit card and preferred to handle it all at once for convenience. Shockingly, the associate insisted this wasn't possible and forced us to process them separately - an unnecessary hassle that set a poor tone.
Immediately after I paid for my family member's glasses, the associate asked if I could wait briefly while he assisted another customer. I agreed, expecting a quick interruption. Instead, he proceeded to help multiple groups, including fittings and checkouts, while I stood waiting. At one point, he even asked if I needed help, and when I said yes, he ignored my request and continued with others. As closing time approached, I grew increasingly tired and frustrated, realizing he wouldn't have the time or inclination to give my selection the proper attention. I decided to leave without purchasing glasses, only to be promptly charged for what was advertised as a "free" eye exam. The associate suggested I return on another day to complete the process - essentially asking me to waste two days on what should have been a single, efficient visit.
This level of disregard for my time and needs is unacceptable, especially in a service-oriented industry like eyewear. Why promote convenience and value if the staff can't deliver? I now regret even paying for the exam and am hesitant to return. I hope management addresses this by training staff on better customer prioritization and flexibility. A gesture like refunding the exam fee or offering a discount on future purchases would go a long way toward restoring my faith in the company. Potential customers, beware - what starts as a routine appointment can quickly turn into a test of patience.
Dr. Emily Formann is the best she is very thorough and is friendly and will answer any questions you have.. She is very knowledgeable and takes time with you as a patient. The whole Staff at this locations are so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Would definitely recommend you won't be sorry.. Thank you all at America Best Ontario!!!!
Awesome awesome experience! Staff was helpful, encouraging, and patient! Helped make me feel like I'd got the best deal AND best care possible! Walked away with a better understanding of my own prescription and 2 brand new pairs in the mail, all for a third of what my current pair costs AND without insurance! Cannot recommend enough! (Thanks especially to Tricia for keeping a light and humorous atmosphere while getting my exam done expediently! And to Allison for making my first experience with telemedicine a breeze!)((the other staff was phenomenal as well! Just am bad with names!))
My husband broke his glasses. We had purchased them years ago at an America's Best in Columbus, Ohio. Recently a store opened much closer to home, so we started there, to see if they had something similar to fit his lenses. Emily went above and beyond helping us. She tried so many different pairs until finding the exact fit. She was so helpful and did not make us feel like a bother to her. Emily is a true example of fantastic customer service. We are forever grateful for her assistance that day.
